health scare

a friend of mine had a sexual health scare recently - it took me by surprise as she only sees guys who play safe, and actually gets checked once every 12 weeks - we play but in all honestly we get a full sexual health check every 6 months

in the end it was just a scare for my friend but it really has me thinking

this can be a game of russian roulette sometimes and is there a way of improving or proving our fitness to play

im probably talking rubbish but im just thought dumping for now - what do you guys think?

always an element of risk, but best to minimise these risks.

so condoms for all penetration.

and regular check ups following all types of oral.

hi, i had a scare about 2 months ago, a girl i seen a few times contacted a few of my verifications and said i had given her an std and they should get checked, even tho i played safe with her and my other meets. it was an evil thing for her to do,as i refused to see her again for more fun is the only excuse i can come up with. i get checked regular and always been clear and so have the the other meets she had contacted. she did get reported, but unfortunately still on the site xxx

You can never be 100% safe. The only thing you can do is keep yourself as safe as possible

The only thing you can do to minimise risk is to always use condoms and have regular checks if you indulge in oral sex and most of us do without using condoms for that.

It is embarrassing and because of work reasons I cannot risk getting an STI. I do have regular health checks at work but I will go to an STI clinic out of my area to get 6 monthly checks in future for things like gonorrhea, syphilis etc as I need to keep this all confidential

It comes down to your philosophical outlook. Personally, I think the human design is seriously flawed if we can't deal with stds etc.

Three options are available to us: celibacy, hyper contraceptive & sexual safety objects, or throw caution to the wind.

Interestingly enough, I saw a Richard Dawkins documentary recently where a woman in Africa has developed an immunity to AIDS... surely we should all be evolving to combat sexual diseases the more we're exposed to them? It's food for thought.

mmm interesting theory - the problem is increased exposure will mean increased treatment which will mean treatment will it self be out developed - our stds will only develop their own immune systems against them

although i am happy to put together all the peado's in a room and use them for experiments!

i guess you are all right - there is a risk to everything - so carry on being careful and being good

Had a scare a few years ago after meeting a couple from another site the female part of the couple sent me some messages and nasty phonecalls saying that they had developed an infection from meeting with me but shortly meeting them i had a check-up which came back all clear on my side so went and got another just to make sure and once again i was all clear sent her a message saying this and she still wouldnt have any of it.

A week passed with no contact from either of them til i got a message from her saying she had found out her husband had met someone else after meeting with me and had caught an STD from another woman and not content with meeting people as a couple he also wanted his bit on the side and thought it was easier to say it must have been me he had caught it from xxx Lois xxx
