Lots of women here sem to either prefer, or often insist on tall guys.

Do the guys prefer taller or shorter women? Or no preference?

It's something I've never really seen guys comment on before.

I get men telling me they like that I'm tall but I think it's probably bullshit. If I was a man I'd be all about the petite women to make me feel big

Well this lady I'd 5 foot 9 and over six foot in heels many guys don't like the fact she's taller than them lol ask her to remove heels lol as for him he like all ladies height but does like a petite lady who he can lift up with ease and play stood up for a change lol

I'm 5ft 2, S is 5ft 8 neither of us have an issue with talker people, S particularly likes tall ladies, I guess us both being short maybe has an impact on desirability with some x

I'm the same height as this and very tall in heels too. I'm starting to think I should meet in flat shoes. Or maybe dig a hole in the ground for me to stand in.

My husband is 5'6 and he seems to manage, luckily for me.

I do prefer tall men but at 5' most men are taller than me. Height is not a reflection of a man's appendage size, for me its the feeling of strength they gave...

As for women height is very important...69 does not work so well when one person is missing out because they cant reach

I am a modest 5'5" whilst Mrs J is 6' in her bare feet - much taller when she wears heels. Frankly I am not remotely bothered by height and neither is she.

I feel that physical attraction towards someone does not much depend on height.

But when there's a significant difference in height it does make a difference, even for spooning - I'm 6' and curvy so there's a fair bit of me and that's before I wear my heels, which is one question I keep getting asked

I love going out in 5" heels and do have some fantastic play partners who are way smaller than me (and my best friend is only just 5') so I don't have major issues about being tall but when I'm playing with someone height does affect the dynamic. I get fed up of feeling 'Amazonian' and sometimes just want to be with someone a few inches taller than me where I can feel small and as if I could be overpowered

That's the reason I specify the height I'm looking for on my profile, it's what turns me on for 1-1 meets and I do get fed up of some of the much smaller guys I politely say aren't for me telling me 'we're all the same height in bed' and sometimes being downright nasty with me x

I have a total week spot for tall women. If she is 5ft 10 ins or more and she's never worn heels for previous partners as they didn't want her to be taller than them I'm more than happy for her to wear 4 inch heels. 6ft plus - fabulous!

Totally agree I am 5 10 so with heels waaaaay more! And I like fucking standing up so need tall guts to satisfy that....and yet little guys get offended when I am polite and tell them no thanks....guess I should just be rude and not reply and block....that way no one will be offended by the truth...

When I first met my ex I changed all my shoes so that I wouldn't be towering over him.. After a few years, mainly me getting over the height issue, I started wearing my skyscrapers again.

Height doesn't bother me at all now. I like my heels and men like me in heels. So fuck it

Gosh I am so guilty of looking for the taller man, but I am 6ft without heels, but I'm so glad I read this thread, as I always thought most men would pick a petite woman over a tall one (or Amazonian in my case) but it seems that's not the case!! I've met ladies from 5'1 to 5'8. I think it's a preference which women focus on more for reasons already explained: feeling petite if you're already quite tall and opportunities to wear heels. For me, it's interesting that it's not really the guy but how they make women feel about themselves.

It's a good question and I have to admit to a preference for ladies 5'3"-5'5", size 8/10. I think it might be a mechanical/Neanderthal thing based on missionary position suitability for the sexes!? That said, if a lovely, slim brunette about 5'9" from Haverfordwest challenged me on this I would of course make the ultimate sacrifice and be happy to be proved completely wrong

I do tend to lean toward petite women, petite, not just short..

I'm led to believe in my case, psychologically, that it's a desire to feel protective and look after someone.

There is a certain 'cuteness' to tiny girls as another person has mentioned.

I also like women to be able to wear killer heels and not tower over me..

However. I still find many taller woman attractive and will often find myself complementing a woman on her height when I'm out. normally, to their surprise...

Proportion is important. But so is attitude.

Sexuality is a state of mind...

its the same for the men as well depending on who they pick to be with being taller than them

I will also add ex was 6ft and curvy I did like her in high heels as she was on my arm and no one elses and wasnt i proud of it.

could carry her from the car up 2 flights of steps and carry in the door and put her into bed

For you maybe. Some people, however, are seeking something more specific.

Both are valid approaches. Your way is right for you but it's not necessarily right for everyone else.

, I don't really have a preference for height nor can I really afford to being a single male here!

. The only reason I focus on women who are my height or shorter is that I'm rarely considered by women taller because they want tall guys because they're tall themselves...or they've been shopping!

It can be irritating when a woman standing at 4'11 sets her criteria for guys at 5'10+

Its been eye opening reading!

Seems guys overall prefer short/shorter women.

I have always had women give me grief about me being tall (I was 5'10 but think I've shrunk slightly with age! Or maybe I measured wrong last time?). So I assumed it was a desirable thing to be tall as a woman? Apparently not?

With a short husband, no wonder we never get couples meets.

Luckily, finally there are clothes out there for taller women. But as I have a 35" inside leg, I have to spend a fortune on jeans to get ones that fit.

That's because they're not really 6ft. I take 2 inches off any height measurement I'm given by a man (unless they're 6'4 plus, in which case they're usually trying to downplay it

I'm tall but I have stumpy legs, I'm all torso! I wear dresses basically all the time because even when shops do a longer leg for trousers, there are very few that do longer length tops

I got measured at the gym the other week and I'm 183cm with just breaks the 6 1 barrier! Any woman that gives a height generally grows by 3-4 inches dependent ton the heel!

I'm 5'11 in bare feet, pass me my 5 inch heels and I'm towering above a lot of people and a lot of men too and that's why I like my men tall.

I don't feel particularly feminine at times due to my height and probably only started wearing really high heels less than 2 years ago.

Some men have had issues with it, apparently it makes them feel emasculated, I guess that's their problem but it can get to me at times as it's not like I can do anything about it.

I'm 5 ft 5, long legs, shorter torso.

This makes fucking standing up rather difficult lol but my god do I love that he's shorter than me, I love putting my arms over his shoulders to cuddle him and we're similar enough in height for spooning haha

I still wear heels although he prefers a mid heel rather than high, but that's fine cause they're easier to walk in after a double vodka or 10 =P

I'm 5'11" myself (181cm), so definitely tall women would not be an issue for me. I tend to prefer tall women because I have a thing for legs that go on for miles.

But then again, my ex was just a wee bit over 5'0... not sure how that happened! LOL. Bit superficial really if you ask me, choosing a girl based on height.
