Question for the guys, Is the build up to a meet not part of the fun/excitement ??? Or am I missing somethink.

Yes it is, depends what kind of meet it is. I like the quickies, but I like the slow build up ones as well

Yes we all get a bit nervous on first meets but chat is easy, may be lack of interest.

Depends, in general yes, but if it gets too drawn out, it can seem like being fobbed off and, personally, I'd loose interest
