Curvy doesn't describe a size, it describes a body type. You can be slim and curvy or big and curvy.
And for me, I am attracted to both and think that they are fantastic |

All forms are admired, personally I prefer curvey but then again a curry person I mite meet could have a really bad personality, so when I prefer curvy personality and cracking eyes take priority |

im about a 14 - a good 14 at the minute but will trim down over the warmer months - always have a half stone floating one way or the other - like curves rather than bones but i do get excited when i can feel my hip bones a bit more easily |

There are endless threads on this subject yet no one explains whether by curvy they mean very shapely or just fat. If they mean fat, and there's nothing wrong with being fat, then why is a euphemism necessary. On the the other hand by "skinny" do they actually mean underweight or do they mean slim, and if slim do they mean shapely and slim or shapeless and slim.
Without defining the terms the question and many of the answers are meaningless.
Personally I prefer someone who is a healthy weight and a nice shape, which are just two of many features I like about my partner. |

every ones different, as for me:
about 5`2", 5`6" with heels, size 4 heels of course, nice slim long legs, petite size 8, maybe size 10, 32B firm breasts, and long hair half way down back although shoulder length is nice too
but then anyone seen "Rose O'Reilly" in were the Millers !!!!!! Jennifer Aniston is absolutely stunning when playing that part, wow, hoot hoot |

I think most women feel the grass is greener on the other side, many big ladies saying they'd like to me thinner, many slim ladies want bigger boobs etc is anyone really 100% happy with their body, is there anyone who never looks at themselves and wishes they could change something, I'm sure there are some but I doubt there are many, I'm a size 14 and I hate some many parts of my body, I can't remember the last time I had my boobs out even when having sex they are totally covered because they are so bad and im ashamed to show them
But regardless of all my dislikes I have never had a problem finding men, and I'm not only talking about on here so it just goes to show not everyone views us as we view ourselves or maybe its true and personality does count for more |

Is it a rule that this topic is started every 12 hours or so.
Me I'm fat and have curves. Don't like it not a problem . But ffs there are enough people that like big and enough that like small.
My problem with this kind of thread is that it will constantly reinforce that you're not good enough for someone rather than the other way of there's someone for everyone. And usually there are a couple of body shamers or 10 so i'll move on from this thread and ignore it as I have the other 20 :p |

Interesting thread shows different people see curvy in different ways. The OP states a liking for curvy but profile says no one over size 16. I adore curves and I don't see how a certain size can be the cut off point. A lady who is 5 ft and a certain size will carry it differently from a lady who is 5ft 9 |

That is so true. And most women see themselves bigger than they really are. |

Would someone please, once and for all, define curvy? If you mean fat then say so. If you mean shapely say so. If you mean slim but with large boobs, small waist and big hips then say so.
If you do mean fat, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, then simply say "I prefer fat women" - why use a meaningless euphamism? |

Because there is a huge stigma against liking fat women. |

I've actually seen a film where a woman had sex with a skeleton...it was on youtube a few years back, some necrophilia film i think it was meant to be. Never laughed so much in my life. |

But they are quite happy to use "skinny" which is pejorative rather than "slim" which isn't. If people really like fat women, how does proclaiming they like "curvy women" overcome that stigma, and why draw attention to their stigmatised likes on a thread?
I just don't get it. Curvy to me means shapely - I'm not as shapely as I would like to be, and many women probably feel the same, but we don't go around denigrating body shapes that are different to ours. |

In my head curvy used to mean voluptuous, but yeah on here i get that it means overweight.
I'd say slim is athletic but not much muscle or fat, whereas skinny would be just underweight.
There's so many words that are always more appropriate, but we just have dumbed down our vocabulary over time and one word tends to mean a lot of things, even sometimes the wrong things as well. I blame politicians, always using the wrong words to imply stuff. |

Really what stigma? Can't say being with a lady with cushion for the pushing has ever been seen as a bad thing |

Oh come off it. Maybe not on here but people are not looking for relationship here.
Many (not all) would be happy to shag a fat girl but not take her out to meet their mates. |

Beauty comes from within no matter what the size or shape.
I've been a size 8 weighing 11 1/2 stone when training, up to a blooming size 16 with loads of added bits. But I've always been happy just being me no matter what my size. |

"When men start these threads we get berated and accused of saying..."look at me please"...
Just saying..."
Usually (but not always) the OP of these types of threads is pretending they want a discussion when really they're looking for a type of person to reply so they can pm them for meets. |

Totally disagree I'm proud to be seen with my OH to me she is gorgeous. Most women I've slept with have been larger ladies it's what I prefer myself |

I'm a size 18/20 have learnt to like my body most of the time. I have bbt ( boobs, bum and tummy) I have never had a shortage of male admirers far from it but I do get self conscious as I know I'm far from perfect. But if you don't like larger ladies you don't have to play with them!! Guys go for my cheeky smile and my personality |
