Is anyone on here into Sailing and Camping? We sail a catamaran and love combining going away with the boat and taking the tent. Would love to chat more if you are into the same. |

How cool would it be to have a group like the caravan swingers but for those who like tents and sailing. We could all meet up and bbq, camp, sail and be naked |

You should sail around to Shell Island ( Mochras ) llanbedr and then take a walk down the coast to the nudist beach at Morfa Dyfryn. We camp at Shell Isalnd and cycle to the nudist beach.. |

oh yes I love a wild camp too - even better when combined with a wild swim in a remote lake or river: silence, solitude, and cold water on naked skin... |

free climb? do you mean free in the US sense, as in not using fixed protection (pitons, bolts etc) or aid moves? or free as in free solo, with no ropes or protection gear at all?
What the americans call free climbing is pretty much the norm in the UK - free solo on the other hand is a different ball game - big balls and a calm head needed! x |

ah well, mine certainly shrunk a bit last time I had a wild skinny-dip after a climb - that was in a mountain tarn high in the lake district, in December. Freezing but exhilirating! (nothing to see when I cam out though lol) x |

Even in a wetsuit that cold water can certainly put your voice up a notch or 2. Nothing a campfire and bbq couldn't sort with a few drinks thrown in for good measure then a nice big gangbang under canvass |

There's a campsite with a naturist section - surrounded by high stone wall! Not quite at the Barmouth end but on that side of the nude beach section. I have a leaflet somewhere, message me if you want their details? |

Love both sailing and camping, but don't like Cats. Still remember the first time we crewed a fair sized one and on going down into one of the hulls saw the "emergency exit" sign. On the floor.
Prefer a boat that comes back up again, after you've made a cockup.

one thing that always stuck in my mind - it suddenly dawned on me that the boat was quite far over at a scary angle - mast to horizon and had a bit of a panic to say the least - father in law said think of the boat as a balloon on water and how hard it is to push it down - never forgot that and completely felt safe with them after that |

"Just completed my day skipper last year, so starting to get into my sailing.
Been into camping for years."
I looked into skippering courses about 5 years ago. They all tended to be held near Portsmouth.
I would love to scratch build my own catamaran and sail naked lol |

I'm looking to skip Day Skipper (no pun intended) and head straight to Coastal, I'll need the day skipper navigation theory first though but I've got the offshore miles
Also got my Sea Survival and ISAF tickets... p |

"Yes into sailing and camping, the trick is to not rock the boat too much when on a pontoon mooring, gives the game away"
We 'rock the boat' most weekends - mostly just the two of us but have been known to have some naughty fun on board with others |

I tell you 2 up on a standard rig Lazer in a Force 5 both in full wetsuits takes some doing. However relaxing on my new boat with the curtains drawn, rocking gently in the double bed is doable. |
