Seriously, in my opinion, there is no such thing as a stupid question.
If someone asks a question it is because they are seeking to expand their knowledge. It may be about something that is known by many others, but the question is asked by someone who doesn't know the answer.
It is perhaps the ones who don't ask questions and think they know enough (or indeed know it all) that we could consider to be stupid, as they are of a closed mindset.

In the greater scheme of things I understand your point of view, however there has to be a line and the countless threads of 'why do people not like insert [demographic criteria]' for me, are stupid and or naive. |
