These are well-written dramas with a good deal of humour from Russell T Davies who wrote Queer as Folk and also something called Doctor Who lol. I guess one of the reasons we like it is because it is set in Manchester. Cucumber is a serial with hour-long episodes. Banana is a spin-off series with half hour episodes. I think Tofu is online. The three terms refer to different hardnesses of erections.

Took me a while to realise the actor who played Stuart in Queer As Folk is Littlefinger in Game Of Thrones. I kept thinking "Where the hell do I know him from?" |

The three separate series are all linked so best to watch side by side. Very cleverly done (a scene ftom Cucumber will appear in Banana but from another characters perspective) Really good stuff! |

Yeh watch episode one of Cucumber then episode one of banana. Then go onto episode two etc. It's really clever the way they do it, tho Russell T Davies has god like status in our house cos of Dr Who. |
