Spoke to a cpl and set up a meet,
Only to be let down and msg received saying
we didnt realise you were in northampton. we only fuck guys out the area.
personal preference or just a timewaster???

For the most part I'd say preference and safety however with your username and location I'd say it was pretty obvious from the outset that you were from Northampton so they possibly shouldn't have got that far in their communication with you. |

Definately personal preference for the reasons a previous poster stated.
They have definately not wasted your time, well no more than youd normally spend browsing fabs anyway.
You probably feel disappointed they cancelled but please dont accuse people being timewasters when they are not and you said they let you know which is more than many would.
Just accept humbly it did not work this time and move on |

We do the same correct it's a sex site but we still don't want to bump into someone when we are put and about as no telling how some would react on here.
The clue is in your user name and location though so sounds like a cop out on the couples part. |

Might be just a way of letting you down gently (in their eyes). People chicken out for all sorts of reasons - the fact they gave you a reason at all (even if not a real one) shows they had some empathy.
We don't consider a bit of flirtation on fab without a follow through as time wasting - it's all part of the game. Perhaps reserve time wasting for the meets where people just don't show. |

And sometimes can be a plain oversight i know weve done it at times in that weve had a mail from a nice guy got involved with mails and only after arranging to meet did we notice too close to home and had to cancel not timewasting in our opinion just an over excited mistake, we are all human |
