They changed laws in this country specially with porn as they knew people who beforehand were vanilla would think S&M a good idea after this film.
When the "Secret Diary of a Call Girl" series was aired escorting rose by a third in the UK & a similar thing will happen with this film.
Because of deaths through S&M the government have fetched up their concerns with the practice. |

Me n a lady friend going to watch it Wednesday.
We also like goggle box.....taking the piss out of poor TV that ends up so bad it is funny.......we expect the same experience.

It may increase interest, but sadly it isn't a reflection of true, healthy bdsm relationships. If nilla people are learning from it, and thinking that that is the way things are.. That can only be a bad thing, as far as I'm concerned. There is a huge difference between bdsm and abuse, and it's dissapointing that bdsm is being represented in this way. |

I found the film to be the complete opposite, in my experience no self respecting dom would pressure a virgin into the world of BDSM and use it as a bribe with the whole "its this or nothing with me" attitude with a girl infactuated with him.
I found the whole thing more an abusive arse using BDSM as a front for his obvious issues... but thats just my opinion. |

I read the book just... I found it a bit boring.There are much better books out there a bit more believable but at least it got people talking about bdsm and her marketing person did a brill job promoting a bog standard book |

I think it romanticises abusive relationships and gives out the wrong message and information about the entire bdsm subculture.
