I've been both ends of the scale and I still can never understand why anyone uses the word 'real' it's nearly as daft as 'genuine' "I think real means untouched, you know just accept yourself as you are without changing it I does seem a bit insultive though to suggest that big women who do not excersie are somehow more real than women who take care of their bodies | |||

for nothing, I've always wanted to be a size 8, I've now decided I'm not doing to beat myself up anymore trying to be something I'm never going to be, I don't accept the way I look, I hate my body but I do accept now I'm never going to look good so may as well just get on with life | |||

As I also said in the original post and I stand by it media is VILE its not tangible its not everyone's opinion of beauty nor what's acceptable or what's best, its down to an editor.. One persons choice, this in succession starts 'trends' hence in the 50s the hourglass figure was (and in my opinion still is!!) Hot as fuck..then twiggy came along, then it changed in the 80s, most of us have icons and naturally we like beauty but honestly you can't accept whatever the 'media' tells you is beautiful is indeed beautiful..you have to break free and say no its not my idea of beauty..only then will media listen and start using different shapes and sizes and in return people will accept it more. | |||
