a forum discussion today made me think about older guys.
I asked myself I can imagine to feel attracted to someone who is much older than me.
yes, I can.
I would go to bed with sean connery or robert redford without having to think one second.
anyone else?

Take a look at profiles most have upper age range as 45 as a young looking 51 yr old i cant even message most women i think they are missing out on a lot of experience |

I prefer older guys i have to say. Not out to prove themselves so much and are happy to focus on my needs above theirs. Some of my best playdates have been with guys 10 so years older than me. It helped that they were sexy!! |

yes there are older attractive men and women.
The assumption is (and I assumed the same when I was young) that one stops being sexual after a certain age, stops having fantasies or wanting to try out new things and this is a terrible shame, we are capable of being sexual at any age. |

I would go with this.....tho a fair few of my many meets have been with younger women/couples. Some of which have initially put me outside their age range.....but they learn lol! |

Keanu reeves is older but still sexy, even when he went a bit fat i liked him.
Tbh your 'average' older guy doesn't do it for me. I come from a family that lives to a really old age (80s,90s) and everyone looks good still and youthful compared to others the same age. So i'm thinking my expectations of older guys is they shouldn't look as old as they do.
Most of the older guys who message me look like my great grandad and at least 10-20 years older than they claim, from my own experience of what someone ages like. Plenty of guys in their 30s and 40s also look older than they claim as well, so it's not just very older guys, it can be younger too. |

obviously not everyone, but the guys who message me- plenty of them do. am sure half of them lie about their age as well though and they don't look young enough to get away with it.

It often is the case that many people have an impression of how older guys should look at any given age, say, 50, 60, or older.
I'll be 60 in May this year. Some of the new staff at my workplace in hearing my age cannot believe it as they reckon I appear younger. Even the beauty therapists in our Spa ask to know my secret of good skin (I don't have one!).
But it all comes down to how I behave, how I approach potential people for meets etc. That is how I get to see people. Maturity brings responsibility and that's how I'm often _iewed. |

We have met a very attractive older couple. In fact, their pictures do them an injustice we found.
So the there are some old gems out there, hope we are considered as such when we reach their age!

I got a message of a guy who is a bit older than me but his profile says he is younger than me.
I wouldn't want to meet someone who lies about his age. because it says something about what he thinks about age. and therefore about mine too.
I get told very often that I look much younger than I am. but why would I lie about my age? I shows that I have life experience. and that's not something I would want to hide. |

I can't imagine anyone without considerable stamina joining a swinging site regardless of age. I have to say, I always wear my women out, I'm not sure that's stamina, or just plain lust. Whilst we've all had the quick 5 mins up against a wall, or over the bonnet of a car, that's normally down to circumstances, and nothing to do with stamina, I want a couple of hours minimum, preferably all night. As I say, don't think that's stamina, just pure unadulterated lust. Best ab workout I know |

There is an interesting article in the Daily Fail today not without it's usual sensationalism but about Monica Porter and her new book called a Year of living dangerously where she attempts to date men of a certain age. She has gone back to toyboys and has a 38 year old lover.
She bemoans the lack of Clooneys and Brosnans with clumsy balding paunchy men seemingly the norm. Can't beat a bit of the Daily Mail sometimes for sticking the boot in.

This topic has made me think perhaps I'm being too narrow minded. I think we chose to put the filter on after we first joined because the number of messages were overwhelming but things have calmed down now. I think it's also because I dated a guy in his 50s when I was 19 and look back on that and feel a bit nauseous. He wasn't even a guy that had aged well! |

I realise my last post probably didn't come across as intended. I have been to socials and felt a flicker of attraction for an older guy but immediately rejected the idea because I don't want to feel weird about it like I have done previous. It just seems wrong to sleep with someone who could have gone to school with your parents but I suspect I am missing out on some great experiences with this attitude. |

I love my age and wouldn't want to be one single year younger. I have much more to give than when I was in my twenties.
but I wouldn't want to join a 40 plus club either. I like all sort of people.
but it is quite shocking that people are so narrow minded that they draw the line at 40. what a small small world they live in. I feel sorry for them. |

I don't believe people are better sexually with age.. If you are a sexual person that starts young... We learn as we progress but the kinky deviance is always there in your genes...
Personally I'd rather a hot older guy as you also get the emotionally maturity.., but many guys don't look after themselves and sadly are not so appealing to me ..

It does come down to individual choice, but do some people actually realise what they can miss out on, with someone who is older?
30, 40 or more years ago, aged 50 was "old" then; nowadays, it is middle aged and people of my age group are seemingly having the time of their lives!
I know I will be too old to meet when I have to be hoisted up onto the bed, because I can't get onto it myself!!
But until then, and this goes for all those in their 50's and 60's or more, don't judge a book by its cover; you could be missing out totally! |

Yes, I have been to bed with older women, remember though, we are all getting older so what or how would you feel when you reach the age that YOU consider too old, there might be snow on the roof but there is definitely fire in the cellar. how old a person looks can be deceptive. |

There are a few 50-something men on here I'd like to meet but as far as I can recall, I've not found a 60-something man attractive, even the celebrities.
George Clooney is attractive still but he's still in his 50's and he's hardly a typical example of a 50-something man.
Sean Connery? No but then I didn't find him that attractive when he was much younger. |

I don't think I'm missing out by not meeting men I don't fancy. I find the suggestion bizarre.
I don't judge anyone solely on age but I know from experience I'm less likely to fancy guys over 50 and very unlikely to fancy a man over 60.
I don't see it as ageist, just realistic. |

The status quo is fine we would not want any contact outside our age filters at this time and whilst you get the odd one lying it's pretty easy to spot and if they look that good for their age then who cares.
It's more about the filter it offers than age for us although looks play a massive part. |

The status quo is fine we would not want any contact outside our age filters at this time and whilst you get the odd one lying it's pretty easy to spot and if they look that good for their age then who cares.

It does come down to individual choice, but do some people actually realise what they can miss out on, with someone who is older?
30, 40 or more years ago, aged 50 was "old" then; nowadays, it is middle aged and people of my age group are seemingly having the time of their lives!
I know I will be too old to meet when I have to be hoisted up onto the bed, because I can't get onto it myself!!
But until then, and this goes for all those in their 50's and 60's or more, don't judge a book by its cover; you could be missing out totally!

Not necessarily true, I've been with older guys who didn't have a clue and younger guys who were surprisingly good! Age really doesn't have anything to do with it, it's more about having the ability to learn and wanting to please. I said I thought we were talking about 40 + because most people commenting were saying about age limit filters being set at 40. |

People usually meet me & say i don't look almost 54 but i don't lose sleep when i am knocked back because of my age.
A lot of people put a over 50 block but that is their choice because if we were all the same it would be boring, when i was in my 20's it was exciting to sleep with a women in their forties / fifties but i didn't do it all the time in the same way i don't expect young people to want to do the same now. |

i don't look at winks any more, last time i looked i had almost 1000. do get loads of messages so i use my inbox instead.
anyone can message me, i don't rule out anyone because of age, but guys need to be realistic and think whether i would find them attractive based on my preferences and my own look.
never said i looked like a moose,
lol deleted the rest of my comment, was a private joke nobody would get anyway if they didn't live in my town. |
