What is the main reason you started swinging??

It was a natural progression from fantasy talk in the bedroom. We have a very honest relationship and freely tell each other anything. We are both pretty laid back and confident so we knew there was no threat to our relationship. We thought about it for a long time then decided why not enhance things a bit. We tried it and liked it. Ok we will come clean (jokes aside).
With six kids rapidly getting bigger our self time is very restricted, gone are days that we could ship them all off to bed early & therefore enable us to have some naughty fun.
We are very mature minded and enjoy great sex, so the natural progression was to try swinging clubs.

For me it was a way of carrying on my sexually promiscuous youth into older life, my previous partner felt the same so it was a no brainer.

I got into swinging because I don't like being in relationships as I prefer to feel free and not tied down to anyone.
I enjoy chatting to people and getting to know then and having fun, but am not looking for a 'future' if that makes sense.

Plenty of reasons not to, mostly religious hang ups and you probably find your in the minority, in the world.
I love the idea of long term couples, who have not had the chance to experiment and now have decided to do so together.
I know many, many women in particular who get to around 40, kids, house, cars, job.... A great life, but they have only been with one or two partners and now the partner their with is uninterested in sex, overworked, busy, gym/sports/hobby mad...
