Any time you message someone, they are able to make a single response for any message you send, even if you block them - basically a way to stop twats from slagging then blocking. |

When you have a thread going it does not make a new entry for each message. It runs it like a thread should be run so if you have a long conversation with someone you do not have to scroll a long way down to read a conversation with someone else or lose them off the bottom of the page. We delete read messages and keep the last one so we can still see it but pull the ones back up the page that fell off. |

If someone organises an event people can join their mail list so when the event is re run, anyone who showed an interest can be messaged. They can however opt out at any time. Saves a lot of work re messaging everyone each time an event comes round. |

Yep.
The only thing I'd like to see is a big sign on the front page reminding everyone that this is JUST a website.
It owes you nothing, it's not designed to do any hard work for you and that being here guarantees you nothing.
Those that realise this and have realistic expectations of what this, or any other website in existence can do for them tend to live happier online lives.
The site works pretty damn well if you ask me!

We run events and hot list people who like the events. Then we have some friends that we would like to short list them and not see pics and others where we would like them to see. Just something that to us would be useful. To others maybe not. |

I enjoy this forum but, tbh, it's pretty old fashioned and limited (eg can't post pics, links, vids)
And it's by far the most restrictive forum wrt moderation/rules that I'm on....for saying it's an adult forum it's very constraining.
Still fun though so not all bad
There is a HUGE uk VW forum that is one of the biggest on the net...fab could learn a lot from the way it self governs and only occasionally needs mod intervention.
I also agree with the block and not even see posts thing....again, pretty standard stuff elsewhere.
As for the site in general....needs much better search capabilities
Basically they could do with acting on some of the suggestions posted in the suggestions forum and have a look at competitive adult sites to see how it's done elsewhere (I'm thinking of NN in particular as a reasonable example of a modern adult site)
Oh and also sort out cam access in chat on tablets (but I think that's a HTML limitation tbh)

There are plenty of fake accounts on here who are verified by photo and/or meet, and fake accounts who are both silver and gold members too. They are easy to spot. None of the above would prevent people creating and maintaining fake accounts, just as they do already. |

Not saying its the perfect solution. Just an idea to out all the fakes that ruin the site for everyone.
Genuine people still get verified tick by others. Up to them whether they display the verification message or not. I don't think anyone plays on here and demands peoples do not verify them at all. What would be the point? |

More ladies on the site. Too many guys chasing too few ladies. Its too hostile a market here sometimes. People being mean and rude for no apparent reason, but truth be told they (some women) feel overwhelemed with all the attention. More ladies would ease that pressure. To give people the ability to have an adult discussion about contentious topics without resorting to insults misconception and lies. Yesterday's "body type dictating ones personality" was a classic example.
And for people to be more accepting to the poor people who start out on the scene. Sometimes if people put something up that's probably innocently misguided/silly in come the high horses who think because a way works them then it must be correct and crucifies the OP. Constructive advice rather than scorn. |

Using vBulletin for the forum would solve quite a few of the problems people find with the forum.
I personally would like the search function made more indepth so that you could search by body type and sexual preferences for expample. It can get a bit tedious searching for females/couples where female is bi/curious and are of the body types we prefer. Oh, and adding a bi-playful option rather than just bi/curious.

Stop newbies joining so easily. Stop multiple accounts. Single guys are joining as couples and verifying themselves and their fellow conspirators. A good idea would be a verification phone call speaking to both male and female. |

When a member is kicked off the site for whatever reason then there should be an IP ban so just rejoining with another email addy wont work.... Also if they join on another IP and log in on a banned IP them their account automatically deleted. |

perhaps a colour coded message system whereby paid members were a different colour to non-supporters. Or perhaps in a different folder or section.
I suppose the logic would be that supporters have a little more invested in the swinging idea, so might be a little more serious about it.
This would definitely make it easier to filter the randoms who join the site, simply to annoy.

We post on a site where comments are allowed on pictures and it can get really nasty. If some of the forum posts I see are anything to go by I think it would happen here too so I wouldn't advocate this idea either. |

We've been on other sites that are too fussy and often don't work properly, so one of the things we like about Fab is that it's simple and the tech works.
That said, there's two things we'd really like to have:
1. Ability to re-order the display of pics (without having to delete and re-load them)
2. Multiple hotlists, or a way of marking profiles with different tags. |

For me personally and not having a go at admin as they do a crackong job generally but when as has happened a member who is ex fb sends what can only be described as threatening messages as default admin blockd both people from seeong each other which I understand.
At what point is a person barred from fab.
Thats my only bug bear.
Rest of time things go great in my experience. |

The blocking might not be the only thing that is normally done, that is just so things don't escalate further. Below is what Admin say they do with reports.
Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is re_iewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Agree. Why would someone want to publicly say what they thought about a picture. It is looking for upset. People are going to use this in a negative way. If you like someone's picture send them a message, if you do not, move on. |

Admin bugged my neighbour who used our wi if and computer to go on fab. Thought we had double accounts lol. I can understand this does not happen often but no explaining would change it. |

Admin have already said they tried an automatic reply back when the site was young and people complained that it was impersonal. So they put in the FAQs that no reply = no, and left it there. |

I do hear that but I was with people last night who were looking at 213 messages received in 2 hours.
They wanted to send polite replies to some and they wanted to delete the rubbish.
They only had the second option available to them.
So I stand by my suggestion, the reasons behind it and the right to make it. |
