I thought of this question the other day when reflecting the about university.
I was reflecting on the conversations the girls would often willy and nilly have around my student flat. It made me think as they talked about the types of men they liked. A big reoccurring theme was of Big Build like prop Forward heavy frame lads all looking like they are in their 30s-50s and as rugged as if they had been chiseled out of granet.
My question I want to ask is weather the age of the David Beckham type, male fitness model perfection has become not popular with women (and I use that term loosely as I mean generally, I know women are humans and like what ever they are into) In the modern era or is it just my perception? |

My kids dad looks like David Beckham, never really found him nice looking tbh, his personality and how loving he is won me over.
I think most people look for something more than looks, if they're going to enter any type of relationship (even NSA repeated is a relationship of sorts).
I think people just don't see Beckham types around in real life so don't really think about them that much. We do get advertising shoved in our faces, the media overall had a bigger hold on people when it was all we had to entertain us. Got to say i love how the internet is here and we can choose to block stuff, we can choose what we want in our lives and live a more realistic life than before, i do think people are a bit sick of the fake life promoted to them and although most women would want a guy who looks after themselves, there are more women out there wanting something realistic and with other more important characteristics than looks. |
