I had a landing strip but thinking about growing a little hair so I can shape it into a heart and dye it red for valentines day  . Not sure if my husband will like it or just think I'm a complete tool. |

It's just the same as underarm hair, no? Majority of people shave or wax underarm hairs for aesthetics, plus the fact that sweat etc sticks to those hairs.. I take your point on hygiene "overall".. I just don't like the feel of pubic hairs..

And yes sweat and germs stick to the hair for a reason. To stop it going elsewhere. Fair enough about preference, just saying its not hygeinic x

Okay to clear that up, I should have said females.. Since we were talking about females in the first place. Although my OH veets under his arms, but that's not the point lol  ..
But to answer your question in the first place.. I think its aesthetics that people think about first rather than the said "hygiene".. And that includes myself really.. I don't like the look, or feel of a hairy vagina.. I feel that hairs have things stick to them, and I really don't wanna run the risk of having a smell or any nasties sticking to the hairs, if we're really gonna go into details lol  If a guy thinks I'm unhygienic for shaving or waxing, that's fine by me as I'm sure the next guy won't care.. I personally like a bit of hair, it is preferred though if it's trimmed and tidy though. Too much hair can be an obstruction. |

It's got nothing to do with hygiene; for me it's just aesthetics. I personally prefer a fully waxed lady garden for myself since it feels nice. I'll also quite happily let it grow when I'm not playing. As for playmates I don't mind what they do with their pubes, whatever feels good to them is fine by me. |
