We have been to clubs and are surprised at how many people seem to need to get hammered. This is self defeating because once in that state they cant do anything.
Anybody else come across this? |

Yes.
Their choice - but I suspect they'd enjoy themselves more if they drank less.
I've seen couples and singles (of both sexes!) over indulge. I worry sometimes for the women, from a safety perspective and also from the point of view of potential trouble with 'non-happy d*unks'. But most of the clubs I've been to seem to manage excess drinking better than vanilla pubs/clubs.

We used to have 'a few drinks' to help with the nerves and shyness on our first few visits, but not to excess - that's definitely crazy as you're either going to be ill, do something you'll regret, or make a complete tit of yourself. (Or all!)
Some people really need a few to let go and relax - in our limited experience so far it's usually the ladies who take it to excess.
Anything beyond a bit tipsy probably doesn't fit with swinging in our opinion, but to each their own. We have met some very very fun d*unks who make some great company - but we wouldn't play if someone's past their limit. |

It is there choice so long as they sit in the corner quietly but when men start feeling epic cause they have had a drink and pawing at me or women start taking over the toilets throwing up and couples start having blazing rows over it in public areas that's starts interfering with me
Most d*unks are not considerate of other club users |

We find d*unk people a turn off, rude and shouldn't be in swinging clubs, we actually avoid clubs that do not have a licensed bar because too many idiots with big bags of cheap drink, just getting d*unk, horrible x |

I wouldn't play with anyone d*unk, and attitudes to alcohol have actually put me off further meets with people in the past too. I wouldn't drink on a first social meet, so have been viewed as a free taxi service a few times because of it.
I very rarely drink on meets, and if I did drink, it would be a glass or two of wine. |
