My experience and my experience only
The people that want to use kik are less likely to meet. It may be because they are married or have something to hide. If they wanted to talk they would provide their phone number. I find talking on the phone helps immensely when you are considering meeting.
I know a lot of people will disagree which is why I state it is only my experience I talk of |

We have used it as in the past we've given our number out, chatted for ages to seemingly normal people (two different people) and they turned out to be nuts.
Still get random phone calls at all hours 5 months later. |

Kik is great as its safer to use than whatsapp 
It's also fun like with pics & chats oh and least if you don't get on with someone after awhile can just block |

unlike whatsapp, people can't see that you are online like your kids etc. so once they have gone to bed, you can kik for a while and they can't say "why were you up until 2am whatsapping?" |

Take it non of you bother reading permissions....when using apps?
It would seem not. A point to note here people. Is when an app developer launches an app they ask for permission to do stuff and have access to your phone and storage etc and they have control over all your data in most cases. There is actually no need for this and an app can be released with no permission for anything and certainly no access to your phone or camera or record or take pictures when they want.
Most these apps and all ones have discussed here all allow access to your entire phones contents and are able to record video and photos remotely without u knowing.
Some may laugh... but this is real people. Just Google it if you think otherwise.
I am not the type of person to plug software apps but if want secure encrypted large data app communication try "telegram" however as someone clued on tech....it still has some flaws and some questionable permissions |

Think if u check your permissions for the app kik u will find its far from a safe app to use. Safe in what way? Easily to hack u? |

It's good but it's too easy to be a fake there! Set up any name you want with any pic! So it's good because you don't have to give out a phone number but bad because that means it's easier to be naughty  C x |

We use kik regularly, the block feature is very nice and to be able to chat more privately and like texting without them having your number, feel free to hit us up, kolohecouple |

It is also nigh on impossible to remove your profile off there. Not very ethical with your info.
Google "delete me now". It's a website that shows how to get rid of your online footprint, kik is one of the worst. |

Yeah the fb app shares all your phone book and texts and it then texts other users who's phones don't have face bk use listed....saying such such says join face book. Is actually no need for any permissions but they all do it to sell on data and have good snoop hehe |

I use it to get to know people, then after a while give them my moby no. If they seem legit
Plus you can send/recieve pics taken directly through kik to prove the person who's taken them is who they say they are and not using others pics. |

We use it to chat, send pics etc when not within earshot.
She is on iPhone and I have gone on Android so we can't use iMessage anymore.
KiK is great for our kinky communications |

I use Kik as had too many wankers ( literally!!! ) trying to call me when using what's app! Seems to be a cool messaging app, people should use it coz it's fun!!
