I Jez was watching a documentary about women who have surgery to shall we say tidy up their vagina. This was based on their perception or their partners perception that they felt their vagina looked ugly.Now for me I don't care if a women's labia are of Un equal size etc as I really feel someone's personality is so much more important. So what are your thoughts ladies and gentlemen? . |

I think its really sad to be homest, I don't know if this is an appropriate thing to say no doubt someone will give me a bollocking for it but I have a daughter who 22 who has never had a boyfriend and is a virgin because she feels she don't look normal down there, it saddens me to think so women are made to feel so paranoid about their bits they would consider surgery, we are all different but all normal |

Agree. All are gorgeous in their own right. I'm sorry to hear your daughter had such a confidence issue. That's a real shame. I hope she overcomes this and begins to enjoy a fulfilling sex life.

There was a time in the '70's when publishing pics in girlie magazines started to show the vagina and it seemed to me, with inexperienced eyes, that a chainsaw had been used to make them look red and raw. Thank goodness things have improved such that certain artists have taken mouldings of vaginas and made them into wall friezes - illustrating the sheer variety of shapes and sizes. |

TV,celebrity and the media have so much to answer for, as does the porn industry to a degree.
The pressure on young people to have a certain body or way of doing things is ridiculous.
I truly hope your daughter is able to find contentment with her body and find someone who will accept her for all the wonderful she is. Has she considered counselling and/ or ways to enhance her confidence?
I have uneven labia, but it has never been an issue and until recently I hadn't even given much consideration to what people may think of them. I am slowly learning to love all of my body and that actually however they look our bodies are all pretty amazing. |

Personally I used to think I was 'abnormal' as I would not be as neat as others in that department, at work we all (girls) would've sat around and chatted about sex/men but whenever the topic of vaginas came up I would be called strange or weird cos when I described mine as not being 'tidy' the girls would all agree they had perfect 'slits' with nothing on show. It was really only through watching porn I discovered how many different types there are and all unique!! Variety is the spice of life eh? |
