Why can't I enjoy normal night clubs?

Nope...I've not enjoyed normal night clubs since I was about 20. Full of idiots normally. |

I've never enjoyed club night, full stop. I don't think you are unjust in your feeling, even if the sex clubs play a huge part in it.
Usual clubs blast music too loudly, people intoxicate themselves to near-depth and you can't strike up a fun conversation. That's less the case for sex ones, in my opinion  |

We, as a couple, haven't been to an ordinary nightclub in more years than I'd like to remember. The last one was in Wales with some vanilla friends of ours and he made me cum while stood at the bar with them by fingering me from behind. When I orgasmed they realised what he was doing, laughed about it and we carried on drinking.
He, however, still attends Raves (he's a HUGE Deep House nut, too many records, CD's, MP3's to count as well as his Mod, Punk, and Electronica collection - can you tell he's telling me to type this? lol) and goes at least once every 8 weeks to a concert or Rave. We're off to see OK Go next month at The Forum in Camden, followed by Stiff Little Fingers in March. He normally takes our daughter but I've decided I want to see what he gets up to when he goes out  |

Never go nightclubs any more....I hang around at various music festivals for four solid months of the year so it seem to get that side of things out of my system..... |

Unless there's a band or a club night We really want to check out I agree we just don't seem to get the same buzz out of Vaniila clubs.

Totally agree with the op .
It seems pointless going to a normal club now . Loud music so no chance to chat . No chase , no buzz .....
We have been going to swinging clubs for 4 years now and wouldn't go to a vanilla club again |

We went to a swinging friend's vanilla party with some other swinging friends and by 10 o clock were all itching to get naked...lol...mind you, they had some seriously hot friends...
It kind of worried me though that we seemed to have lost the art of small talk in a social sense... |
