why are there so many more women than men on here that are or claim to be bi sexual? Are we more tolerant and accepting of women being bi sexual than men even as liberal, open minded swingers? To see women play in clubs , we wouldn't bat an eye lid but to see blokes play...
I am straight but feel there a double standard even by liberal swingers |

I would agree with that post. I am bisexual. Or bi playful at least. Like all bi people i get urges for each sex from time to time.
But its socually unacceptable in clubs etc even on bi nights there will still be raised eyebrows.
In fact the only time i have been openly bi in public was a private party hosted by an openly bi male.
I think there are deffo double standards.
I mean where is fabgirls.com?

Sorry is that the male commenting. For straight males such as myself with a bi-playful partner it seems to me that quite a few women are not necessarily bisexual but are OK with kisses, manual and oral sex with either gender. Perhaps women who swing have higher sex drives than the average woman? |

It is less of a concious double standard and more a result of years of social conditioning.
Just like in vanilla life, some have the ability to question convention, others don't. |

Like everything , it comes down to personal preference.
For me, I will only meet straight guys as bisexual men are not my thing.
I am more than happy to be friends with anyone polite, fun and interesting irrespective of their sexual orientation although I do get frustrated with those who write to me with requests to meet with the clear intention of playing but who are bisexual or for any other reason are not my preferred interest. The simple reason is...its in my profile that I am not interested in meeting to play with bisexual men...or women!
We all know how annoying it is when people simply dont read profiles before sending a message.
I do find there is a 'trend' for lots of women on this scene to be bisexual. Each to their own. But personally I am 100% straight so it would be pointless in them writing to me for play purposes.
I actually find sexuality fascinating and in my days on the fetish scene in London I was often to be found huddled in a corner in deep conversation with transgender and transvestite men as it is interesting to me and we had a great laugh together and became good friends. But we were not sexually compatible and it was accepted and respected.

I should add (as I didn't make it clear) I am not making an automatic connection with bisexuality and transgender /transvestism!
I was trying to make the point that regardless of someone's sexual orientation or preference, my own sexual preferences do not preclude me from having great friends with all. X |

Personally, I don't draw comparisons or judgments between bisexual men and bisexual women.
Its just a sexual preference. No more.
As long as everyone is respectful and accepting of eachothers differences, I see no problem. There is always someone for everyone.
If anything, I have found more judgment cast on me for being straight and not wishing to play with women! I am often told how 'unusual' I am and asked to 'try it'. Funny really. Would they ask a gay man to try sleeping with a woman???? Of course not.

I can only assume you've not visited chameleons darliston on a Monday then?
Plenty of male bi play in all area of the club. It's positively encouraged on Mondays. |

I can see why a woman wouldn't want to meet a bi man for a completely normal shag. the flashing amber beckon and siren must be very annoying. oh and the fact I track down homosexual heroin addicts and have bareback sex with them on an almost horny basis. so much so that when I walk around supermarkets I have to have a man with a red flag yelling at other hapless shoppers "watch out! here comes aids boy, he's clearly bi look at his peculiar gate!"........can get very tiresome. |

I think it's more to do with it being more socially acceptable about bi woman. Possibly due to the 80s/90s and hiv when it was assumed that all gay men would be promiscuous and have this disease.
I think a lot of woman will just "try it" to see if they like it. For me personally I was attracted to both men and woman from a young age but I know a lot of bicurious woman on the scene are probably not bi but just enjoy sex.
Thankfully the negativity against bi men is changing and I think we will start to see many more as it's becoming more socially acceptable. I still can't convince Paul to "try it" though lol |

I did try playing with women actually but I know it was because I felt a social pressure to conform to what was considered 'commonplace' on the fetish /swingers scene amongst women especially . No idea why women especially but that was what I was told at the time and too young and naive to question it.
In fact I recall feeling quite out of place and not 'in the club' because I didnt like it. Same applied to anal sex. I was not considered a 'proper submissive' because I was a) not interested in playing with women and b) because I didnt enjoy anal sex (yes I did try that too and hate it).
But that was all years ago and I am very comfortable with who I am now and who others are, as long as they don't try to persuade me that their sexual preference is far superior to my own! |

On an individual level there's people on both sides, all down to personal preference, each to their own is how it should be but on a societal level we're a long way behind. Bi females are much more socially acceptable that bi men. It is what it is, at least no one is getting burned at the stake for it any more. |

"In my opinion there's no difference in a man who likes men and women and a woman who likes men and women "
Quite agree . The important issue is accepting peoples rights to be who they are, rather than what someone else tells them they should be. |

Its down to others perceptive towards bi men, the amount of people that contact us with straight man on there profile stating if they put bi guy some women won't meet with them
Most Men that contact us sadly are dishonest, either being bi and trying to hide it, or stating there bi just to come play with the fem!
Bi nights at clubs across the north west we have seen no bi men action, but did have a great pre arranged session behind closed doors at a club recently |

It is clearly up to everyone tondefine their own boundaries. We tend tonsee ourselves as try-sexual, in that we are both comfortable with each other, but also comfortable to see what comes along. FAB for us means we don't want to be pigeon holed, others can make their own choices as can we and we can be in the mood one day and not the next. It really comes down to how turned on you get, how comfortable you are with your partner and yourself and what feels right at the time |

Do I get a whole new category for myself?
I've not interested in men per se but slap some makeup on him and transform him into a CONVINCING, smooth, feminine transvestite then I'll be attracted.
Yeah, I know I'm weird |

You're not weird, by the way, lots of the guys that show an interest in me probably wouldn't if they saw me without two hours of preening |

Yeh I've never quite understood why a lady interested in guys is not interested in Bi Guys? What's the preconception that Bi guys are different in some way? I'm sure they still fuck with the same penis as straight guys |

Because it's a turn off - years of social conditioning - most probably, but I'm old enough to know what I like and what I want. Each to their own etc, etc I'm happy to respect anyone's sexual preferences as long as they're happy to accept mine. |

We are statistically a higher risk group than straight guys for sti's although my clinic seems to think swingers are just as higher risk. |

Me neither and I often get wandering female hands in group situations. Women rarely ask permission in my experience they just assume its OK |

It seems that many swingers expect the femmes to all be bi or bi playful. Wandering female hands are a big problem for us. ASK FIRST! Lol |

Our experience on here with the meets we've had is this, loads of couples profiles state female but when we've met them they are not,we believe ( not in all cases) for some reason it attracts people to there profile, it also appears from what guys tell us ( don't necessarily believe them) that putting bi on there profile puts women off, if a guy doesn’t have bi on there profile but messages us stating that fact we won't meet him |

I'd put myself as bi situational.. I enjoy it for me And for the voyeurism of those involved but certainly wouldn't just want to play with a woman.
And as to wandering hands... I totally agree. I always ask first if the lady would mind if I touched x |

I reckon there are probably just as many Bi sexual males as females on this site. However the majority will not admit it.
There are lots of Bi sexual males on here without their wives/partners knowledge and want it to stay that way.
I get quite a few messages from 'straight' guys, but I usually delete them or sometimes I will answer telling them that if they cannot be honest about their sexuality, then what else are they lying about. and that's the last I hear from them |

I know it is all about preferences but the double standard that makes me laugh is the profiles that say "no bi men" but there is then pictures of the woman taking a cock up the arse. A woman sucking a cock and taking anal = the same acts as a bi man would do but they won't meet them, seems strange to me.
Bi men can resist touching a nearby cock, especially if the nearby cock belongs to a straight man! |

It would be useful for people to block other people based on sexuality. It could be used on the browser, to out anyone that has blocked anyone of your sexuality. A lot of time spared and less unwanted messages. |

As you say - lots of women claim to be bi-sexual, but in truth they are only bi-playful ...!
Most of them run a mile if you talk to them about women-woman relationships and say "Oh, but I'm just playing, I could never leave my husband!"...

the guys wont own up to it because they think they will stand more chance with women when what they should look at is the amount of people that are looking for bi guys.we are living in a bisexual world so people should get used to it. |

I think in general women are more accepting of anything new...
If it makes their lives easier, they go with it.
Men usually try to keep the status quo... If it looks like it might change the order of things, kill it!
I don't think it means bisexual swingers have a higher sex drive on either side.
I have a few friends who are highly sexually aggressive, but do not swing.

I agree about some women only being bi-playful. Although I would also never leave my husband but it isn't because I'm not bisexual (I have been in relationships with women previous to him) its because I love him. |
