Last one of these we watched was terrible, full of ugly 30 stone women, people wearing their mums knickers, people who had threesomes with dolls... Was totally rediculous.

The point I was trying to make is that swinging is not exclusive to skinny people or fat people or any other kind of people and I'm not a great fan of exclusivity, but just my view. We agree on the fact that having your son there is just plain wrong. Some people just don't have any idea how damaging that could be for someone of that age. |

I quite liked that couple too, they seemed open and comfortable with the whole scene. This wasn't really a programme about swinging as such any way, just about these particular types of parties so we were never going to get a rounded view |

Yes agreed she was charging a lot, though the reason being is was to create exclusivity. The people that attent those party's are more than happy to pay the entrance fee and £200 for a bottle of fizzy wine. Like the guy on the door suggested that party and others like it attract well known people because they feel safe in that environment because they are exclusive.

I agree. And I thought the 2 young women summed this up when saying that they would never want to be in a relationship with someone that goes to a sex party, and that they couldn't imagine seeing someone they really liked having sex with someone else.
Those 2 comments, to me, highlighted that this was a programme about people who have sex at parties, but who don't subscribe to the swinging philosophy. |

The chaps who runs one of the parties is on here. Him and his partner are great people and he does well for himself.
Don't see these parties as any different from any of the other parties on here that cater for a niche market?
Nothing but positivity towards them and I think well done for them to having a go at taking away some of the ill perceived seediness away from the scene.

Seems a bit strange that there seems to be an assumption in this thread that people who are good looking and young enough to attend these particular parties don't also have a good attitude, personalities, 'skills', or that they aren't interesting or engaging.

Thought it was a bit of a snore really. Have never been to a party but watching something like this is off putting. I don't think the people involved had much charm or charisma, the parties looked weird, not fun. As ever with these sort of programmes, the participants end up being portrayed in an odd light
I would also hope that the average party would be much more relaxed and welcoming than those portrayed last night. Please tell me they are! |

The masks were used we think to protect identities as they are kind of synonymous with eyes wide shut / masked balls kind of scenarios ??
Personally thought it wasnt a bad programme, however once again in another thread the bitterness and jealousy shows through from some.

The programme showed to the great British Population that Shock Horror! People go to parties where they pay loads of money and have sex with total strangers!
It also portrayed that unless you are one of the beautiful, slim, hunky, and hideously wealthy then you have no right to be enjoying this kind of thing.
In no way did it portray what can be construed as the wider element of Swinging where people have lumps bumps and in general are more down to earth individuals who are not so far up their own arses that they are virtually invisible

I would expect there are disclosure forms too.

Start with a bit of titillation. Throw in a bit of back story like the poor little rich boy runner and rough diamond northern lass etc.

Enjoyed it but didn't think it represented swinging as a whole but it did represent a part of it albeit far from what the majority experience here.
There's profiles on this site with those types of people and it should be expected too, after all "us" swingers are a cross section of society, sexual appetite/preference doesn't choose your class, wealth, income, expenditure, types of people from certain backgrounds etc., or anything like that. Swinging as far as we have seen/experienced has so many different elements/kinks, different types of people, it's as varied as society itself and it was nice to see this presented as it was. Just another insight from a different viewpoint for us.

We used to go to Jon Blue apartment parties (the fish biology guy with the blue hair - under the name of Little Liaison Parties). He is a really nice guy!
They were great fun, very intimate with a number of good looking couples, but sadly they got more popular and more expensive as the size of location and party increased and got more extravagant with costumes etc, and in our eyes no longer a "Little Liaison".
Glad to see he is doing well, and is fully embracing "his" lifestyle... |
