I have never looked at mine. For a while hadn't even spotted them and then thought it would be interesting to keep count of them which you can't do if you look. So far am 80 away from 1000. I'm hoping for a prize when I get there

Used correctly , I take them to be an indication if interest and will usually reply back with further details ( assuming that I satisfy the selection criteria ) . Sometimes I receive winks from couples who do not wish to meet single men , so do not reply .

It is silly when a user winks with nothing on his/her profile like images and the information is sparse... surely a wink is expressing an interest in you and please check me out?

If I check out a user who has winked and there are no images and little info I just move on

It's a shame a lot of people disregard winks as its a great way of showing interest and they can check your profile and then hopefully wink back and then messaging can begin

I do look at who's winked, but it's mostly from people who haven't read my profile. However, if they have read it and I think we match up, then I'll wink back.

It's clear on the site help and FAQs pages. They are what they say. Just that some people decide to ignore them...as is their choice!

Yeah we like winks, and treat them as someone showing interest in us, we wink at profiles we like too, and hope to get a wink beck, if we do, we will mess and say hi, if we don't, then we will probably still message and say hi, (if they are cute!)

We like them, if a couple winks and we're interested after looking at their profile we'll either wink back or message them.

We disregard winks from single men though as they are usually from guys who don't match what we ask for in our profile, and more than enough message as it is so we really don't need to look at them.

I don't really bother with them.

At first I'd message back with a face pic if I was interested but nothing ever happened from that. Usually didn't even get a reply. So I decided to go down the minimal effort route of just winking back and again nothing has ever happened from doing so and in most cases don't even get a response to the wink back.

I do laugh though when I receive winks from couples that mouth off saying if anyone winks at them they'll be blocked

I ask for interested people to wink if they're interested. Not everybody can articulate what they want in an opening message so for me it's a useful 'ice breaker'. Fab is generally a sexually liberates site but even now some people struggle to make the first move.

As with everything, there's no definitive rule book or manual that everyone HAS to abide by.

I just received a wink, went to look at the couple profile...and I had been blocked ...haha brilliant ... I think I'll manage not to lose any sleep over it!
