Swinging after a baby!

So we just had a baby, hubby works away lots so don't have loads of time.

Don't want to loose all swinging fun!

How wrong is it to fuck strangers downstairs with a baby upstairs?!

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Thats something only you can answer for yourself, and of course to tell any prospective meet.

Its not for me. I wouldn't have a fab meet with my son home.

And nor would I meet anyone with a child in the house - it just feels wrong to me.

What if the child woke up in the middle of play?

A baby is fine not exactly going to come downstairs unexpectedly

This is something you have to decide for yourselves guys. Easy for the rest of us to look down on the idea - but I remember very well that when mine were babies we very rarely got babysitting offers! I'd say it depends on your lovely baby - if it's a light sleeper with a sporadic sleeping pattern then it's a no-no - but if it has long periods of regular deep sleep that you can set your clock by - then you should be fine as long as you're both comfortable with it and your meets are made aware of the situation.

And remember everyone - this is a baby, not an older child. He/she won't even be aware it's happening, let alone traumatised by it!! Xx

You have the energy?

We chose not to do this. Babies have the habit of crying just as you are enjoying yourself, and more people disappointed is even worse.

I probably wouldn't feel happy attending a meet, imagine if a baby started crying / screaming, it's not great id say.

Just my opinion, sure some people won't care. Only you know what you feel comfortable with.

When I'd just had a baby the LAST thing I wanted was sex. I was tired, scruffy, and probably smelled of sick and poo. Sexeh!!

All I would say is that people on this site

and reading this forum aren't always who they purport to be. Advertising that you have a small child in the house and are willing to invite people home is dangerous in my opinion and I would strongly advise against it.

Some men don't have much knowledge of female anatomy I'm afraid.

That's entirely up to you. We have a 4month old and swinging took a back seat long before I fell pregnant.

My personal concern and what would make me uneasy is not that our little one may wake up, but more that you don't really know anything about the people you're bringing into your home, and although I'm more than confident in mine and Vincent's physical abilities, I'd still feel like I was putting my son in danger and probably wouldn't be able to relax enough to enjoy it anyway.

I'd sooner wait until he can spend the odd night with his grandparents.

If you have regular playmates that you know and trust who could maybe grant you some understanding if things go wrong, I'd say go for it. But if it's meeting new people then that's up to you to weigh up the pros and cons.
