I reckon it's a weather thing. Northerners are used to the cold. Winter, northerners in t-shirts, southerners in big coats.
(Obviously a total generalisation.) |

The site is more northern based as us in Essex co15 are classed as the midlands, because of the site error it comes across as people in the midlands are contacting you when they are southern based.
Simple computer script error mish mashes lots of areas, we ourselves have as much fun as our northern friends. We like to go up north a few times a year as we think northerners are lots of fun too.

We get messages from people in Birmingham, Nottingham etc who are 180 miles from us in distance but as we are classed as East Midlands think we are local.
This does make the few who are actually classed as south seem few and far between. |

i think it is very much of the case of the "grass is greener" and you tend to notice things happening far away then you do on your own doorstep so to speak....
it think it also depends of how large your area of range for meets are as you always get the "why is there nothing going on in my town?" posts........

I am a northerner living in Dorset.
Most of the people on my friends list are midlands or further north.
Majority of my meets have been with people outside of Dorset. Those I have met in Dorset are originally from elsewhere. I have found generally that the closer someone is to Dorset, the less likely they are to be interested in me.
The regional split of fab, which doesn't seem to fit that well would indicate that perhaps northerners are more likely to overlook certain aspects of my profile, where as down south they appear to be relatively stringent about it.
So to summarise, northerners (like me) seem friendlier in a lot but not all cases... |

Male from Oldham in Lancs - female from London - we get on great and met via Fab. However, we both agree generally that northern folk do tend to be friendlier people who are warm and welcoming. It may well be to do with the fact that most southern stock (historically speaking) will be of Saxon origin - most northern stock is of Viking origin. It's a generalisation, we know but one that we have definitely observed. Nobody will talk to a stranger in a southern pub. The northerners will more than likely buy you a pint and get to know you - funny old game. |

People from up North are more adept at written communication. This is because nobody can understand their accents so have to write things out more
OR
Southerners are less likely to be able to read
Is it racist if you insult everyone? |

Up north people are definitely more open and chatty as a general rule. Not to say southerners aren't but it's less common I think. Me I'll talk to anyone. up north that means People think am normal....in that there london people would just pretend they didn't hear you!

"There are more swingers clubs north of Watford. "
Thats because more councils down south are very conservative in their outlook with swinging and clubs etc, we go up to swinging club's in Blackpool and they have drink licences where cant get a drinks licence down south for a swinging club.
This does effect clubs as there is not enough profit margin to open clubs if you dont sell alcohol. |

My opinion?
Takes all kinds,but
Northerners are more friendly and open.
In a club up North, stuff can be happening the moment you step in the place, and they are well attended.
I am looking forward to a trip North soon.

I would say there appears to be more activity near the swinging club areas....Manchester, and brum
it strange as I would say I do no more northen swingers mainly because I tend to look for them as that is where I go clubbing.
When I was clubbing in London before the f club closed down, and when I was a regular at abfabs I did think there was more down south,

Northern clubs r on our list only been to 1 this way as its brill not had opportunities to up north to play but gunna make sure we do now lol
How do you know its better up north if you have never done any swinging there, we thought you were a conisir by starting the thread the way you did lol.
Try up north and then make a judgement,
in your defence the northerners are just as naughty as us southerners but we can say this with experience and not assumption."
Northers seem braver ?? |

No point in meeting northerners then since we clearly don't make the grade. |

"My opinion?
Takes all kinds,but
Northerners are more friendly and open.
In a club up North, stuff can be happening the moment you step in the place, and they are well attended.
I am looking forward to a trip North soon.
Partners or Cupids?
or Both??"
Neither both quite frankly are skanky! Amour is the best club to go |

"Male from Oldham in Lancs - female from London - we get on great and met via Fab. The northerners will more than likely buy you a pint and get to know you - funny old game."
Ahem...may I intervene as a Celt from the South West. We'm friendly down here, quite gentle, but awful fierce underneath when provoked. |

We like playing with anyone in the UK, if we had to pick the randiest people in general it would easily be the Welsh as a race who are the more consistent for naughty sex than most.
We have met our share of naughties from all over the UK & Europe and enjoyed all our meets, people thinking there is a difference between north and south are showing how inexperienced their swinging activities really are lol.
Try before you preach that is our motto and most of the swingers on here... |

You have to have a meet before you say such things as this does help |

How many times have you traveled south? A lot of northern people we meet rarely go outside their own zone so its hard for them to know if they dont travel south.
Most of the people saying north is best have had hardly any meets at all let alone travel south lol.
We have no trouble with north or south meets and can't honestly say one is better than the other. |

I live in Dorset. I have had more offers from northerners than I have had from within Dorset.
Of my meets, one couple from Dorset itself. Another in dorset originally from gloucestershire and a lady from Bristol area. In wiltshire met a lady from Manchester, another from Newcastle. I could go on. It isn't a southerner bash. Just people from Dorset just ain't attracted to me but people from further afield are! |

Always reply and more than happy to go all the way.
Meeting in the middle is also good, but you can't beat going down south.
We have traveled several times to Chester and Grantham for meets.
Our motto is if you want us we will travel.

John is a cockney & i come from Essex and we get on well with anyone, two of the friendliest places we went to was Glasgow & Liverpool where the people & pubs were brilliant.
Blackpool is still our favourite when we want fun with our northern naughties lol. |

"We get quite a few messages from further north but living where we do thats not difficult
We assume that people find us scary and only feel safe from a distance of hundreds of miles " I would agree with you on the geography there lol |
