When you book a hotel(for a meet), do you have to declare the number of people coming eg 5 adults?

Is it true that there is no limit on the number of people you can take into a hotel room?

The type of room you book denotes the amount of people that stay. Theres nothing stopping you having extra people in the room as along as they dont stay ... If they do you may run the risk of other paying guests in adjacent rooms callibg security if the noise is bad...they cld then be thriwn out and an extra charge made on yr account. Ive been in hotels with the girls and weve had parties and only once got told off...if it was just day times i cant see a problem

"As long as they don't stay" hmmm. When does "stay" kick in?

Catthorpe

We don't. If it's our room we give th number to our meet and answer the knock at the door, they leave when the meet is over and vice versa. Not had a problem, yet.
