Answers to these - and any other musings/questions/anecdotes that you may have had over the Christmas period - would be gratefully appreciated! Xx

Always though good turkeys went to Waitrose and as for the great chocolate wrapper question. I think it's because people think it's being tidy rather than just leaving wrapper on the table or floor.

Why can't people share the contents of the Christmas crackers when they end up with two lots just cos they've got more tugging power (and we all know why)

It simmers my urine

I have always put the wrappers back.

It's particularly annoying in the After 8's box

I don't know the answer to the first question.

But people who put empty wrappers back in the box are definitely going to hell.

I am sometimes guilty of screwing a couple of wrappers up tight and putting them in another one so it looks like there is a choc inside but there isn't. Just for a giggle you understand

Unless you have a bin beside you the wrappers have to go in the box or you will have to keep getting up and going into the kitchen, which will spoil the mood. Turkeys go into the oven. I do go around removing all the empty wrappers from sweet tins

The Roses people have put the coffee creams in a different coloured wrapper now. Coffee should be in a brown wrapper, strawberry in red and orange in orange,so we can avoid them

Being the dad, I don't mind wrappers back in the box: at least they're being tidied.

But doing that with After Eights is a mean trick

A more appropriate punishment for putting an empty wrapper in the box would be to stand in the naughty corner for a maximum of 1 minute rather than dying in hell

I used to be a little tinker as a kid and swap the wrappers over so people got the odd coffee cream

Naughty!! My brother used to 'reserve' his favourite chocs by licking them! Didn't work though - we didn't have germs in the seventies!!

ah my school of thought! You can always snaffle through the wrappers to find the full ones, but nowt so annoying as having to tidy up after everyone else's raids!

people who do that to after eights should definitely incur some form on penalty though!!

If its a box rather than a tin, I would put the empty wrapers back into the box, because it saves time going to the bin each time when you have to sample at least one of the different kinds at each sitting!
