I see a lot of profiles from couples and singles saying no black guys so I'm put off messaging, but I'm mixed race (white mother black father) and was wondering if you'd class me as black? As a lot do but I no their are couples/singles that like mixed guys that state no black guys on their profiles from one or two meets I've had myself.
Just wanted to know some other people's views and forts? |

I am nobody's wife and have dark hair. Preferences are the result of experiences, not genetics. |

I find it off putting when people put ANY preference on their profile, regardless if it states that they prefer black (men) or that they want to avoid black or Asians.
But when I meet people in clubs you can't always tell if people have weird preconceptions about race or skin colour. |

" ... Just wanted to know some other people's views and forts?"
OP since you've asked for other peoples views and forts (or thoughts) i'll be blunt and honest with you, why give a fuck?
If some says no (or even yes) to black, white, asian or any combination of skin tone on their profile i wouldn't bother messaging them as it is a massive turn off for me defining a person by the colour of their skin and there are plenty more on here who don't.
If you put it on your profile and message someone they should (in theory) read your profile and see if they want to message back. Apart from that i wouldn't read too much into it. |

You are you
You will tick some boxes and not others.
As long as you are respectful in your messages, no one has the cause to be nasty to you unless they are fools with a lack of social skills.
So, give it a whirl, just be nice with it and accept you won't be for everyone. |

And as someone else above said, as you aren't white those who specify no blacks will probably not see past your skin tone. Look for profiles that want all of you rather than parts of you |

What colour people are ! Does it matter ? Should it matter ?
I don't care if my workmates are black / mixed race / Asian / Chinese or any other racial type; same applies to my neighbours as long as they are 'good' neighbours.
When it comes to who you have sex with it matters more as we all have preferences' likes and dislikes; things that turn us on, things that turn us off !
I admit I have always had a fantasy about a sexy young black dominant lady.
Personal choice is a wonderful thing !!! |

I would class you as black. No black guys means imo Caucasian males only ie white guys only. I am French Caribbean, so my skin is a light shade of black, lighter than some African blacks but that still makes me black, non Caucasian.
Lots of profiles on here, just ignore those wanting white only.
Have fun x |

Exactly!
I'm mixed too ( White / Caribbean) and know that people see mixed race as black - but thats cool with me! I have my preferences too!

Lol, Actually, as someone that's been told "Sorry, I don't meet black guys" I don't think its unfair (I have no control over my ethinicty, colour of my skin, my height or the fact am male).
Being told however "Sorry, I'm only into guys in uniform" I do find a tad unfair Am I expected to get some military costume from ebay just to get a meet? Nah, too much hassle it sounds like
People will have their preferences, I'd rather spend my time meeting the ones who will meet me (irrespective why) than trying to figure out why the ones who won't meet me don't want to. |

Disagree.
A black person is a black person. An Asian person is an Asian person. A green person is probably very ill or an alien.
In response to the OP, lots of people like lots of things, just comes down to preference. From what I can see you're yummy, whatever else you choose to call yourself! |

Attraction is king for me, as long as it's there then I'll happily meet. I'm fussy with who I meet, but I would never, ever dream of saying I only find girls of one race / skin tone attractive. Also if I met a lady who had a white mother / father and the other parent was black, I would interpret is as offensive to call them white or black - speaking from experience of conversation in person, professionally and in personal life with friends etc.
On Fab though, you will just get that - some people will come across as racist, others will just have rigid preferences they have loaded in their mind, only worry about what you can change |

If you see someone put "sorry but no black people" I think they are lumping mixed race people into that category as well which in all honesty is a bit silly. People should be able to differentiate between black and mixed race. |

I'm sick of the whole race and racist thing. I don't care what colour the person is as long as I'm attracted to them. If someone want just white people or black people it don't make them racist it's just thein preference of who they find attractive. Cone on peeps no more race threads |

I never said there was an obligation to meet anyone however,if you fancy someone and get on with them, get to the bedroom then find out they have a tan because their dad is black, not because they had a lovely holiday in Spain and stop the meet because of this fact alone, you're a racist. |

The whole idea of race in itself and how people disregard others because of the tone of their skin is completely weird and absurd. I mean I find it incredulous that educated people and people in general in 2014 still harbour outdated notions concocted by people who weren't very smart/open minded centuries ago.
People will always find a way to differentiate themselves from someone else and that is what makes racism so absurd and funny.
I for one don't envisage meeting anyone who is narrow minded enough to sum me up just by the tone of my skin and OP, you shouldn't even bother about that either. Why would you want to meet someone who is clearly narrow minded and archaic than you are. |

A reactionary reply if ever there was one, we are talking people here not objects.
A. It is not 'P.C' to keep your mind open to all possibilities
B. If your 'taste' in human beings is selective due to skin colour alone. I fancy Beyonce as much as Laura Whitmore, I'd kick neither out of bed, would you?
C. If you can generalise a whole race of people as 'not being for you' 'no offence'
Then I for one do not wish to shag/socialise/meet with you, my call, live with it |

"Le sighhhhhhhhh again"
Okay here is some fun evolutionary facts.
What we call races separated at least 40k years ago, some estimates make it 100k. It's only recently the races have been living together.
That's why the vast majority of people from racial groups have a sexual preference for their own group. All those years of breeding within a group is going to have an effect on that type of person you want to f%%k.
Obviously there will always be exceptions to these rules but those hard the hard facts.
Calling this natural innate preference "predudice" is silly and politically motivated whether the person advocating it realises or not.
The end |

you may think a fetish, like some will say liking me is a fetish (im a big gal) or that I'm bi maybe that a fetish as there all different preferences that some people do like,I like blackmen/mixed race and my profile is specifically made to real them in

Let me clarify - I am quite happy to meet anyone who sees me as a person first and a Black guy second. If it happens that their profile says a black guys only and I meet them and they don't sum me up as just my skin tone, then that's fine. They have their reasons for meeting Black guys only and as much as you'd find this hard to believe, not all of the people on here who specify this do so just cos they want to just meet someone with a black skin. Some actually see beyond that.
See I am savvy enough to know who wants to meet me cos I am a person first and a Black guy second. To generalise that all the people who state they want to meet Black guys only do so just cos of appearance is not doing them justice, is it?

Of course race doesn't matter. It shouldn't matter! Why should it? The colour of my skin does not make me who I am but the content of my character and experiences. It's that simple.
If everyone I have met is white, then it's simply because they are the people I clicked with and had fun with. For me, if I click with someone and there's chemistry then that's it - if I meet someone tomorrow who's blue, green and I click with them then I will meet them.
I really don't think it makes any difference what name anyone chooses on here. After all, we look the way we look and me using the word Black hardly gives me any advantage as you state. |

"The whole idea of race in itself and how people disregard others because of the tone of their skin is completely weird and absurd.
Yet you're quite happy to meet people that specify black guys only? From what you are saying above that would make them narrow minded and you wouldn't meet them. Seems a bit contradictory to me.
"
I wouldn't find it hard to believe at all, as I am one such person, and I certainly wasn't generalising....I'm well aware that people have their own reasons.
I am questioning what you say though. Surely it has to be that they are looking for black guys first and foremost and you as a person second? If you weren't black do you think they would still be interested? If their selection criteria is black guys only, then had you been any other colour you would have been dismissed without them getting to know you as a person. I'm not saying that they don't see you as a person, but from that initial contact for those that will meet black people, it is surely all down to the colour of your skin?
Can I ask what you think is wrong with only wanting to meet black guys for their appearance?
Others must say black people only for what other reasons? Surely any other reason would be generalising the characteristics of what they perceive to be belong to black people?
I would have thought it would be less offensive to meet someone who is meeting black guys based on appearance ie, I find the skin colour attractive, rather than because they think they must behave in a certain way because they are black?
Yet you seem to think that me wanting to meet black guys because I find them attractive isn't doing them justice? I would agree IF I was meeting someone purely based on their looks..... for the record, I am well aware that some see beyond skin colour. I am one such person. Just because that is my first selection criteria doesn't mean that I am not interested in the person.
So to go back to your original point that I questioned:
"The whole idea of race in itself and how people disregard others because of the tone of their skin is completely weird and absurd."
In the real world yes. I would agree. But for fab purposes, where many are meeting to fulfil fantasies and are able to pick and choose our dream sex partners I wouldn't agree that it is so weird and absurd.

See this all the time from black guys on here. "Race doesn't matter" and "racist this racist that" then you look at their profiles and its ALL White women they are with, they are into cuckolding and they have a name like "Dark Knight" or "Black Master"

Two things, if you want credibility over the above:-
1. Drop the word 'black' from your username; and
2. Don't meet those who are only looking for black men. They are not choosing you because of your personality but because you are black. If you were exactly the same personality but white, they wouldn't meet you.
Do those things and I'll believe what you have posted, above |

Isn't fab part of the real world? Fab experiences might be hidden but surely still real. |

Yes it's part of the real world but for me is very separate from my everyday life. I guess that is what i meant. Fab is more my fantasy life. |

Read what's been said above. And thought I will try to contribute to this thread again as it's still going on! I am French Caribbean (am black btw lol), and I will try to make sense in English
People have their preferences and their reasons for meeting a certain type of people... On Fab and outside fab. It's fine, totally fine. In my opinion it's called knowing what you want and saying it. Instead of being a hypocrite!
Whatever my preferences are, it's my body so I do what i want with it. No one can tell me what I do with my body is right or wrong. Well, they can but I will not give a...
Racism?! A word that's being once more thrown in a discussion! Never see the word Tolerance being used!
And I am me because I am Black and French. If I was white I would be a totally different person because some of my life experiences would have been different. Because I have experienced some real racism... some people think they know what racism is. Because they know the definition on paper so to speak! Nope, they don't.
To me, it certainly is not someone choosing what they do with their body.
Voila, that's me for 2014, hope I make sense
Happy New Year to every one |

When I wrote that expression, my thought process was general and not specific to fab. After all, that expression relates to society in general and not swinging and as I referred to centuries, it surely wouldn't have anything to do worth Fab. I was talking about the "whole idea" and the origins of it.
I don't doubt that people look at the skin colour but my point is if that's all they are looking at as a pre-text for meeting me then it won't happen. And I talk on experience - if I come across someone and I realise that that's all they see,I swiftly move on. If I realise that they see me as more than my appearance and they are open minded, then it's great.
I know people mention black only on their profile and I don't have an issue with that, because until I meet them I have no idea why they mention that. But if there is mutual attraction and we go beyond messaging to actual meet, then it gives me a chance to determine if that's all they are about - the so called fetish - or more.
To answer your question - do I think they'd be interested if I wasn't black? - most likely not. But as I have reiterated before, I don't have a problem approaching me cos I am black, but if it turns out that that's all they see and don't see me as a unique person beyond that, then I say my goodbyes and move on. Everyone has preferences but if it comes down to a further sub- preference within that preference if you had to make a choice between two of the same people who meet your initial preference.
Hope this is clear
