Straight men who don't block other men's messages

I'm constantly confused and second guessing which guys may be bi on here.
When I first started I would only message those men with bi or gay on their profiles but after a while I started getting messages off men that had profiles saying they were straight.
Eventually I realised the common indicator of someone actually being straight is when they block/filter single males from messaging then.
I've still had the odd 'fuck off' from a guy listed as straight but allowing messages from men.
I suppose what I'm asking is whether other fabbers have similar experiences of unclear profile "labels" leading to them ignoring them completely? |

I must say it does surprise me the amount of mail I get from "straight" guys.
When asked about if they alway say " Yea but I'm bi".
Surely this place is so much better if we are honest? |

But with so many men listing themselves as straight who arent, it's easy to see why people can get confused.
So many of them are bi but fear of being caught. |

But surely if interested , they would message you , so where's the problem? |

If a guy doesn't have those specific filters on he may have a mate who's a guy who couldn't otherwise message him on here. |

In your opinion! There is nothing wrong with respecting people's boundaries. |

Maybe you should just treat every message from a 'straight' lad as a bonus and not worry about filters.
I don't ban men from messaging as all it takes is a polite no and we're fine.
if they are straight but looking for men I'm sure they'll seek you out as oppose to you thinking you need to look for them. |

Perfectly acceptable explanation for some cases. However there are still plenty of men listed as straight who do it for a different reason - in my experience at least - which does confuse messages! |

I speak to everybody, regardless of gender. Just because i may speak to a guy doesn't mean i want to fuck him.
I used to get invites to parties, threesomes and gangbangs from single men - nothing bi at all.
I'm comfortable with my sexuality. It doesn't bother me who messages me - i know what i'm here for and to be frank, if others make judgements about me. It's more something to do with them than me.
Sometimes my filters are on and sometimes off - depends if i have my name down for any parties or socials and if anyone needs a lift.

I feel rude, blocking people. If i get a message, which i have, i try to be polite in declining them. Only when i get pestered, or someone tries to "persuade" me, do i get pissy and block the individual. |

I don't block any either. I normally ignore and very occasionally decline unwanted requests. If they continue I just keep on ignoring. So far I've not blocked any one but I would if someone got overly persistent or abusive. |

"Why do you choose not to filter your messages?
I contact people via pm if I'm responding to a forum post and don't want to derail the thread.
Not every interaction is sexual!"

I have my filters on as don't want to get male from men.... However I have my banter with other fellas in the chatroom, which includes bi/gay men... to me sexuality doesn't affect who I can have a laugh with, simples |

"Why do you choose not to filter your messages?"
Your logic appears to follow that of the ambulance chaser type calls people get on their phones.
If somebody doesn't pro-actively close down any communication from other males then even if they list themselves as straight they must be open to an exploratory message.
It gives you a justification to play the percentages no matter how small your strike rate. Your choice and good luck with it. But the logic doesn't stand up to a great deal of scrutiny.

This site isn't just for straight and bi couples it's for everybody - doesn't give all options for sexuality for nothing |

Guys will have their own reason to mark their sexuality as something even if it's not the entire and literal truth, I don't see the big myself or the need for this post but if you waste your time messing everybody who doesn't filter single men it doesn't mean they'll engage In anything sexual, as per a few suggestions suggestions, some don't filter just up have banter with one another |

Fabguys has no women on it - defeats the object of the bi part.
I have to admit to ignoring the sexuality labels for the most part as they have been totally unreliable.
It's a rare occasion I send the first message to someone listed as straight but many, many times I've had 'straight' men make contact with me. Just wondered what the logical reason was. |

I am a straight male but have not blocked single men. God forbid having a simple conversation!
Admittedly, it is rare that I have normal conversation imposer upon me, or an invite to something straight-based, but it has happened.
I do however block messages from MM profiles. |

Some of my friends on here are guys. Bi and straight. Does everything have to have a label attached? Friends don't have to be sexual. It can be for banter, advice or plotting to team up for a 3some or something. I'm friendly and not easily offended. I only ever block offensive people or those who can't converse properly. |
