Personally I've decided to hang up my suspender belt after what ended up being a not so enjoyable experience at a club fancy dress party this weekend.
To say I felt ridiculed and actively avoided is an understatement, especially by the women.
Sarcastic comments, horrible stares and sideways looks followed by whispers and giggles seemed to be the order of the day.
Not saying everyone was nasty but there were a number, including some quite prominent fabbers, whose disdain (for me) made us so uncomfortable that we left early.
Can't blame the club, and I had no expectations of attracting loads of people with the way I was dressed; I know I'm a big guy, not ideally suited to Ms. CLAUS mini dress, but I didn't expect such outward hostility from a minority of small minded idiots.
Really was quite upsetting. Ok, rant over.

So sorry for your experience. I had something similar in a club a short while ago and posted the thread "losing the love". I looked in the mirror after my bad night and saw a middle aged guy acting like a twat.
Fab restored my faith.
Don't stop dressing just because you had a bad reaction on one night. That will have been triggered by one waste of good oxygen.
One idiot setting everyone else off.

Forgive me here but I am going to ask you what it is you enjoy about getting dolled up? That's a serious question not a piss take. If you enjoy wearing women's clothes and/or looking feminine can you not do this at home/hotels? If you enjoy being out and about, find a different club or area. Don't stop what you enjoy because of narrow minded people.

Do some research on what works for your body. I had to do this for the wife so I could buy her clothes. Being a short arse certain things don't work. Look at what your assets are (arse presumably) find what shows that off. If you don't have tits, avoid very low plunge tops as I've found out with the wife.

That is nice to hear and in real life I've found most of the tgirls I've met at the socials to be sweet, intelligent and funny.
