"Why reply again when youve had no reply??? If somebody stops replying theyve clearly lost interest for whatever reason so forget and move on "
That's how I view it too. |

I suspect that this is the point she lost interest
"Her : read no reply
"
And this is the point she decided to start ignoring you
"Me : 2 days later reply again
Her : 3 days later not even read "
Not that difficult to work out really

Actually - wasn't 100% expecting a reply at that first point as had said I would chat to her later in the week. So she may of perhaps replied - but it wasn't needed. |

Hard to comment without knowing what the messages said (thats not me asking just my view) i have stopped replying to men i have quite liked simply because the conversation has been hard work, no point being good looking if we have that little in common we can't even keep a conversation going |

No I disagree, I quite often get distracted or forget to reply, or just have a bit of a glut one day and get overwhelmed. I wish everyone who I answered a couple of times WOULD just check and make sure. |

I'm with you on this one. Decent messages get lost between the one liner jobs all the time as we both access the account |

I sometimes don't have time to reply or can't think of anything to say. |

I agree with this. It's hard to keep track sometimes. Wish there was a scroll for the received messages - currently the only way to find your old messages is to delete the new ones! |

Maybe you could save any message that looks appealing or worthy of following up later.. |

Of course but many messages drop off the front page before you can even read them.

Clear from the OP that it WAS read......but presumably deemed unworthy of a further reply? |

OP it is only messaging, there is no obligation to keep on messaging, read messages, or go through with meeting.
I see no point in stressing over it, and it clearly had bothered you as your counting up messages, checking, posting in forum etc. There is nothing to understand, if people stop messaging that's it, done, over. |

Maybe so but others have agreed. If it happened to me I might send a message saying 'Did you forget to reply or shall we leave it there? ' No harm in that. If that gets no reply then yes, forget it! |

I think fab should have a "thanks, but no thanks" quick reply button. I'd much rather get that than no reply.
On the rare occassion that I do get that kind of reply or if I see my message has been deleted usually block them, not out of spite but just so I don't waste time contacting tuem again i the future. |

I sometimes stop messaging as they clearly don't know how to have a conversation .
Example:
Them : We're looking for a bi woman to join us. Would you be interested.
Me: Sure, I'm always happy to chat and see how we get on.
Them: That's great.
And then that's it? If you don't know how to hold a conversation then we're not going to click!
OP, perhaps think about the content of your messages. |

Its even worse when they say they fancy you and will meet. Better offer or im a stop gap while the guys they really wanna meet get back intouch with them after chasing other ladys. Happens both ways |

"Because on the reply to which she didn't answer, did you say "that's enough chat for someone like you, either open youse flaps or do one" ?"
LOL - perhaps I should try this route - being nice doesn't seem to work! |

here and there, thereabouts |
I admit I've done this a couple of times when its clear that we are the ones putting effort into our replies, it's not to be nasty however the conversation has simply run its course. somehow with 'thanks but no thanks' further into a message people seem to think you dont really know your own minds, when really you've just made it up! |
