As above, personal choice, we have over 60 pics and will be adding more until we have reached our max limit of 150, but don't worry we will block you so you don't have to view them by clicking on our profile not realising that we have more than you believe to be required. |

I think it's a poor do that you've been given a hard time for asking quite an inocuous  question! The type and quantity of pics vary massively and as most people said, it's a question of choice. I would agree with the OP that some pics like wedding photos are a bit of a strange thing to put, but would also agree with others that it is personal choice, perhaps those that use wedding pics have no others, perhaps it is because it was a special day and proves that they are married, perhaps other reasons.
Speaking for ourselves we love to show our pictures, we update them weekly sometimes daily so they are always a pretty true reflection of how we are now, our last update was this morning and having just been to Ann Summers (2 days in a row now) there will be more added later.
None of our pictures show us naked or boobs, cock, pussy or anything else that would even be suitable for "page 3", we like to think they are slightly erotic, sexy and artistic (for total amatuer camera operators lol)
We hope that some people will get some pleasure from them, we certainly enjoy taking them especially the outdoor ones.
Maybe we are just exhibitionists, but I don't see that as a problem on a swingers site. |

The way we look at it,in all honesty whether your a Gold,Silver or Free member,it should be a maximum of 20 pics to each profile.
Surely that should be more than enough to sell yourself.
Many of the multi pic's look very similar if not identical anyway,there are only so many ways to take a pic of a cock or a cleavage.

I love pics, but then for me I have an interest in photography. I particularly love arty but erotic pictures. Just a full on pussy shot doesnt overly do it for me. I have kinda got a pussy shot on my profile, but its a bit arty and not in your face (if you pardon the pun). Why does it matter what others do? If people want to put pictures up that will appeal to other people then they should be able to do so. That is what they are doing if you didn't get it. They are putting visual images up which will get people messaging them and they can sort through and see who they like.

I guess sometimes a question can intimidate folks, consider the question ‘why are you a swinger’ there would be a multitude of different answers but there will be those who might respond with “so you’re calling me a trollop with the morals of an ally cat!!!”
Personally I think its quite interesting to get an insight into why anyone does anything. I’ve no idea why one profile might have one photo of say a motorbike and another might have 100 of pictures of sex scenes that would make the Romans look like amateurs LOL.
When we first started out in this hobby it felt very naughty putting naughty pictures on public view so its fair to say it was part of the game as in sexually exciting. I wasn’t personally asking for any ones opinion of our profile pictures but then it seems neither was the OP but I offered one anyway albeit with a very light hearted intent. There’s no offence taken by me, and it seems none taken by the OP.
I used to be a front-man, lead-singer guitarist in live rock bands. When I first ventured into it, it took a hell of a lot of courage and self-confidence to put myself in such an exposed position in front of perhaps just a few or a couple of hundred strangers. My conclusions from the feedback was… some people thought I was fantastic, most couldn’t give a toss, and some thought I was crap, and a dare say a few more thought I was crap but didn’t have the bollocks or were too polite to say so.
Now I think this pretty much applies to everything, your profile pictures for example (which I haven’t looked at) some will think they are fantastic, no doubt most won’t ‘think’ anything about them at all and some will think they are crap. The same applies to our profile pictures and everyone else’s too.
Profile pictures are the ‘worm’ or ‘worms on the hook’ to try and catch the fish (swing partners) it’ll work for some and not others.
Us as a couple, pictures are not our ‘worm’, we always read first and look after. We’re more interested in personality than looks so we fall into the ‘couldn’t give a toss about profile pictures’ group. After that if personality captures our attention then we’d want to see good mug-shots and a full body shot, typically on profiles we get neither LOL. |

Yes but we got to agree with you, most of your profile pictures are shit to be honest LOL, I'm just wondering…. Was it my mum who took them?
To be honest here too, your 2 pics on show are not that great either (in my opinion) and before I get the same back I know already my pic on display is rubbish but it was taken for a reason by someone so it stays on my profile and folk on the forums now know me as guiness pants!
Others may disagree and say your pics are great, but when you slag off other folks pics then expect people to be critics back on your own, your pics just don't do anything for me personally thats all!

I wasn’t personally asking for any ones opinion of our profile pictures but then it seems neither was the OP but I offered one anyway albeit with a very light hearted intent. There’s no offence taken by me, and it seems none taken by the OP.
I used to be a front-man, lead-singer guitarist in live rock bands. When I first ventured into it, it took a hell of a lot of courage and self-confidence to put myself in such an exposed position in front of perhaps just a few or a couple of hundred strangers. My conclusions from the feedback was… some people thought I was fantastic, most couldn’t give a toss, and some thought I was crap, and a dare say a few more thought I was crap but didn’t have the bollocks or were too polite to say so.
Now I think this pretty much applies to everything, your profile pictures for example (which I haven’t looked at) some will think they are fantastic, no doubt most won’t ‘think’ anything about them at all and some will think they are crap. The same applies to our profile pictures and everyone else’s too.

Sort of along the lines of what I said in my post (albeit I didn't waffle on so much (waffle isn't a deregatory term by the way, just means you typed more than required to answer my post, in my opinion anyway)) bugger me I am now waffling on too much now too.

This seems to be a new trend, where people who post to the forum with something for general discussion get sarcastic comments rather than any topical comment.
Seems to be the same people too.
With regards to the original post... I'm sure it's just personal preference. Personally we like to see a good set of pics as it gives a better insight.
