In my mind, legal prostitution is viable."
Viable? In what sense? Of course it is economically viable. But is it morally viable? |

Think with the introduction of the Internet its now open the world of everything to everyone...
A lot more open mindedness is now the norm.
Much the same way to how the swing scene is now more in the open and not just limited to ' those party's where people throw keys in a bowl' attitude... X |

If nothing else the legalisation of prostitution would ensure the safety of a lot of women. At the end of the day it's their body and their life so whatever they chose to do they should have the right to do it in the safest manner possible x |

Agree with that.
And I meant viable in a general sense. Economically, certainly (Germany has proven that). But it's also capable of being a much safer profession.
Legalisation and a regulated infrastructure will do away with so much of the pimping, human trafficking, and drug addiction that is often associated with prostitution. |

"I agree with a post on here, something needs to be done to look after the welfare of the prostitutes.
I doubt though it will ever get legalised, despite it being the oldest profession."
There are " apparently" talks in government about legalising it but unless they find a way to tax the hell out if it I also do t see it happening any time soon x |

even if legalised, there will always be women, whether through choice or coercion, will choose to work ilegally..this has happened everywhere its legal....being legal not only means paying tax, but insurance, constant health checks etc... especially for women who are dealing with a drug addcition, the regimentation and organisation are simply out of the question in an otherwise very unstable lifestyle |
