Because I posted a tread about being sad.
What is your opinion? Is it acceptable for people to state their feelings on here?
Or is the forums not the place for it? |

The forums have areas for all types of thread. If your sad and need a cheer me up then crack on. Nobody should dictate to another, the content of their contributions provided they don't contravene rules. Rant at the ranters!  |

I avoid threads like that as they come across as attention seeking. Though due to the nature of instant gratification, I can see why people do it I guess. |

Post whatever you like. It's up to each individual which threads they read. I'm assuming the title gave an indication of the content? If so then tell them to jog on.

Like others have said its an open forum and post whatever you like as long as its within the rules.
However be aware that others can respond how they want as long as its within the site rules and sometimes this may not be to your liking but its part and parcel of posting on here.
We often see rants from OP's who hate people critiscising their posts and only want posts from people who dupport their topic, this isnt the way forums work thankfully i like the fact it provides people different perspectives on things |

I don't really pay attention to negative posts but it just surprised me how very very angry he was. Can't really see what got him in that state. Never spoken to him before.
Then he say the forums should only be about sex not about personal issues.
Obviously he's not had a proper look on here.
Oh well.  |

Some people do feel that and maybe you highlighted something that touched a nerve with him.
His anger is as valid as your sadness but was possibly expressed in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Sounds like frustration to me - someone who wants everyone to behave as if this is instashag so he can relieve himself without delay. There are a lot of broken people on here - everyone will have an achilles heel at least. |
