Bi/Gay guys looking for straight. Why?

Jump to: Newest in thread

I am genuinely bemused at the number of profiles I come across on fab where bi or gay guys are advertising to meet straight guys.

Why would do they think a straight guy be remotely interested in sex play with another bloke?

Not all men on here are completely honest about their sexuality. Before I blocked single guys I would receive dozens of messages from so called straight guys looking to meet me. Same goes for M/F couples, most of the messages I get from them list hubby as bi but they don't put it on their profile because it may hinder their chances of a meet.

So I think lots of bi men fire out loads of messages to single guys they like the look of or who are shown as nearby on their mobile in the hope of a meet.

We have been on fab long enough to appreciate that honesty for many people is a flexible concept.

None the less it seems to me that for some gay guys their fantasy is aimed more at having sex with an actual genuine straight guy than another bi/gay man.

Is that impression wrong?

Maybe for the same reason that some straight guys fantasise about 'converting' a lesbian?

Not being a gay man I can only guess here. Maybe for some it's the challenge of having some sort of sexual attraction with someone who says they're not interested in men. The old, you don't know until you try it, saying.

Over the years I have heard lots of men think they can "cure" a lesbian woman because they haven't been with a real man yet.

Basically I think most men will be/do/say whatever suits the situation to get their rocks off.

No idea. I don't even chase bi guys. The bi guys and the straight ones just message me

Am genuinely bemused about why it bothers you. If I remember correctly you're not looking for bi guys anyway.

Often it means that the bi/gay guys just prefer straight acting men (whatever that is, apparently all gay men are still seen as screaming queens).

Yea I have heard that "cure" bollocks before. You are what you are.

I can also appreciate that guys will often say whatever in order to get a shag. However a bi/gay guy advertising that he is only interested in meeting straight guys reduces his chances to.. well zero actually.

It still doesn't answer my query. What is the intense attraction of straight guys. Simple common sense tells that they are simply never going to be interested.

Hardly any different to straight guys liking the idea of getting with a lesbian. Or preferably two! There's always an attraction to what you can't have.

And as always, there's straight and there's fabstraight.

You'd be surprised the number of "straight" men that have contacted me first!

I think you're being generous about some guys' honesty. I think they're liars.

I do know an attractive girly TV that professes to only find straight guys attractive. I don't understand it.

"You'd be surprised the number of "straight" men that have contacted me first!"

Yeah but it think the OPs point is they're not really straight! They may say they are but clearly aren't.

The OP is talking about gay or bi men wanting to meet genuinely straight guys (not bi or gay guys putting 'straight' on their profile!) which in itself must be wholly futile. Surely?

So it does, but that means jack here as I get a lot of straight males contacting me, not 100s a day like yourself

Straight guy here (genuinely). I have had fun with a lesbian couple (sadly no longer on site...but local, so saw them a couple more times after they left). I had no intention of "converting" them - stupid idea! I did however have some great fun with them....

I'm bi and specifically don't chase after guys-gay, bi or straight, yet do get contacted by many 'straight' guys on here regularly.

Can't speak about why anyone would try to convert anyone else, but there is certainly a sense that many guys on here feel pressured to claim to be straight whilst they are curious about sex with other guys. Also get the sense that it's a bit of situational homosexuality going on, in that they're thinking: 'if I can't get a woman, I'll go with a guy just to get my rocks off but it doesn't make me gay'

I think what the OP wants is for a gay bloke who has this on his profile to come on here and answer the question. As I would suggest only they can.

Or get themselves to Cheerz and ask a few there.
