Out of curiosity - does anyone know why the term 'Cougar' is used? Do female cougars breed with much younger males? - Or it simply because a cougar is a predator? And if that's the case - why a cougar and not any other predator - eg a panther, tiger or jaguar? Just pondering! xx  xx |

I was told its due to a dating site in America called cougar date where the term was used as slang for users. It manifested later into the slang we know it as today! Don't quote me on it tho! |
