Would anyone mind if I arranged to meet them for coffee, and when I turned up, I ordered a cup of tea.

It's just the way I roll sometimes.

I don't drink hot drinks. A guy wanted to meet me in Costa so I sheepishly had a bottle of water. I didn't realise it was rebellious behaviour..

I'd be the same, I don't have hot drinks. Had many asking for a coffee meet. I can't stand walking past a Costa or Starbucks without heaving. so I can't sit in one!

Perhaps it was a demonic possession that made me do it.

I didn't want to think of cake. I have been good today but am aware at the periphery of my thoughts that there are in fact chocolate digestives lurking in the cupboard. Thoughts of cake may lead me there subconsciously!

I am also guilty of this I arrange coffee meets but have no intention of drinking coffee whatsoever (tea is my drink of choice) - is that arranging meets under false pretences??

I met a woman for coffee once and she ordered tea! I wasn't ready for that kind of deviancy. And she ordered cake that wasn't even on the menu.

I have had this very outrageous thing done to me. It was very lucky a was sitting down when then the lady ordered her tea and not coffee (I could have fallen over). I am still in absolute shock still now that this has been done and have been looking for some sort of support group where I can talk about this.
