So I know that women have to set limits but using age as a arbitrary filter seems fairly crude.
There are plenty of fit looking 45 years olds (lets say !) and a fair few not so pleasant younger peoople.
Is this kind of ageism fair or should filter on body types, personalities me introduced..

Is it ageist to have your own personal preferences though?
I don't see how it's ageist to exercise your freedom of choice.
If you are outside someone's age range but catch their eye then they can contact you. We do this if we someone we like.

I've set mine for 90 plus so I can do the searching myself without getting messages from people that might not be for me. Everyone uses the various filters to their advantage depending on how they want to run their profile. |

I think to some extent we are all agest to a point, I mean how many of us would have sex with a 99 year old? Many are not even interested in 18 year olds.
It is preference and we all have our preferances  |

At my age you have to accept people have their preferences and a 64 year old might not be among them. But why then put 99 on your profile when you have no intention of meeting mature people, it wastes everyone's time |

Its selective nothing else maybe when you let a 90yr old grandad have your arse other people will get adventurous with age experimentation but you will I am sure be leading the way.  |
