There are a lot more people on here and pof than you think.
I once joined pof... And the amount of guys, single and married that I recognised on there from my area had mailed me with pics on here.

We had a single fem friend who was on prof for months with no decent meets she even came to chams with us to get a bit lol she came on here and met a guy within week and they re still together 6 months on |

I'm on POF and had a couple of nice dates but nothing sexual.
I must admit if I found someone long term on POF, I think I would drop this lifestyle in 2 seconds.......sex is great but spooning every night with the same person sound better . |

The thing is how many people on here would accept a monogamous lifestyle if they found someone on POF?
It is certainly one conversation I would not have with anyone I met off POF (what's your fab name!!!) and I think after a relationship started I would not be impressed if she was having bukkake events on the weekend we could not meet |

Match is a good site, not cheap, but you also don't get the time wasters on there.
Pof is just a sex site, the amount of women I met on there who were just after no strings sex was unbelievable!!!! |

Do you think the site you met someone on would dictate the relationship, at least in it's earlier stages?
e.g. Fab means swinging, pof means monogamy etc?
I've never tried online dating, don't think it's for me. |

Good point.
So even if the same people are on both sites ~ if you're looking for a relationship some would prefer to be able to say we met via POF. |

I found that on pof, got more offers of sex than on here!! I did consider match but kind of like the idea of e-harmony as they match you on compatibility, or so they say! I'll look into both I think, thanks |

I think I've been on them all and just don't bother now... You have the playground that is Pof at one end, and match with seems like a forum for the undateables. Sadly I don't really feel I know how to behave on a vanilla date... I find the guys I meet on the scene are just far more nature and better company... But sadly the chances of meeting someone in the right frame of mind for more is slim |

I've given up with online dating, having had one date that was late due to helping him mum arrange the church flowers, another who's photo was 15 years out of date or maybe a different person and a guy who expected me to pay for his meal as well as mine! I'm all for going dutch, but he suggested the meal ! So after three strikes I'm most definitely out !
I've decided it's just not my thing!

I met my partner four years ago via a "regular" dating site (tho none of the aforementioned) and he introduced me to swinging - it is not something I would ever have considered otherwise.
We didn't need people who know nothing about us to determine how compatible we are by what we chose to write about ourselves!! |

Deleted pof as its no different to being on this site.
Still on match and had one or two good dates. Although i feel im ready for a relationship after 4 and a half years im not sure if im ready to give this lifestyle up yet  |

I don't think a 'good dating site' exists. Most of the guys on those sites just want a fuck while the women want flowers and romance crap. |

I don't bother with dating sites. I joined one once and found men just wanted sex or a sexually exclusive relationship without commitment. I only do exclusive in a real relationship |

I find it useful to google usernames when people want a meet or who are a bit suspect. A lot of people keep the same usernames and it's amazing how one guy can claim to be a serving soldier on leave from Afghanistan on here, but on POF can be a mercenary and so on....  |

I don't use dating sites any more - too many liars. I find fab far more honest and fantastic for making friend and socialising!
I've been contacted by countless men who previously saw me on dating sites.
Re relationship with someone here - why not? I've had the best sex of my life on fab! Love the idea of finding someone who is open minded enough to enjoy the social and friendship side with me. Xxx

I'm on POF and OKC. I find that men tend to be more up front here, whereas they tend to say what they think you wanna hear on conventional dating sites.
Oh give me an insatiable, irresistible dominant guy and I'll be happy. I don't mind exclusivity providing he's happy to role play swinging  , or happy to swing. I cannot go back to vanilla. |

I got matched with a few I thought might be ok but nothing jumped out as Cor! so I never arranged any meets. I just didn't find it helpful for me as most just looked vanilla and that 'pervy sex addict nympho swinger' convo' isn't for the faint hearted! |

Their 'matching' algorithms didn't seem able to match me with anyone who I had anything in common with. In a couple of cases, it tried to match me up with women I didn't even share a language with. |

The last guy I talked to on POF was excited by the idea of being faithful to one woman who could meet as many men as she liked!! Cake, eat!!
I tried eHarmony once and it was utterly useless - they kept throwing up totally unsuitable, unfuckable men from the other end of the country. Never got in contact with anyone.
It will refuse your application if you are too moderate in your answers - if you come out 'neither fish nor fowl' their system cannot match you. If you state stronger opinions and preferences it will go through. |

I tried Match... Never again. Yes there are less timewasters and cheaters, but you have a word limit on your profile, and the damn site tries to get you to upgrade, and upgrade and join its sister site. It's just interested in your money. |

OKC is my favourite. I love their question matching system - it asks you about loads of relationship stuff so that you can check your compatibility beforehand. I love the fact I can put I'm bi on there too, on other sites you're only allowed to state one gender you're seeking.
Only downside is it's not as well populated as Pof, but it is growing. |
