A few months ago I was offered to star alongside British porn star Rebecca More for the Television X 'Sex Tour of Britain'
I submitted all the relevant details along with a requested idea of a scenario that we would act out on film. To be honest I didn't expect to receive a response, so I was rather surprised to have a production manager contact me saying 'Yes please! We love your idea for the shoot as well!' before inviting me to the film location on a specific date, along with all relevant ID and of course the health certificates within a strict timeframe of the shoot.
I was dumbfounded at first, Rebecca More is very attractive indeed and this was a professional company to go along with it.
I had a very, VERY long think about how such exposure may impact my life, career and personal relationships in the future. Ultimately I decided to decline the invite, which I think was the right call for me personally.
How about you though, under similar circumstances? |

I've done plenty of amateur vids that were fairly popular so I'd no problem doing pro vids and getting paid for it.
I did have the bizarre experience recently of a Brazilian website finding one of my vids and thinking it was of Cory Monteith (an actor in Glee) which was pretty hilarious. |

I have a couple of friends who are in the industry and I've been to a couple of shoots with them and I've been an extra a couple of times eg man stood at the bar having a drink etc but not sure I could do it myself. Not that I couldn't perform but more that not sure I'd want everyone knowing what I'm up to. Dont want to give away all my tricks haha |

Knowing some of the girls personally in the industry it's not all sensationalist horror stories that these documentaries all seem to portray. Yes there are some dodgy production companies out there but a vast majority are top notch and we'll run respected businesses who treat the performers very well |

I have sort of in the past
My play mate master used to film our sessions but made sure we had our faces covered in masks or tatts were covered.
(was easy for me, no tats )
I know more then a few ended up online but no one knows so far hehe |

As with most on here I have filmed a few meets (with my friends consent obviously!) which is very arousing at the time and great to watch back, but not the same as a proper porn shoot. I think I would prefer to concentrate on who I was with rather than what the director is telling me to do. Perhaps just a filmed free for all is the answer |

Kim reckons i talk more people out of porn than i do film, i always tell them the implications of what could happen as most jobs don't like it.
If you work in the social care e.g. teacher, career, local politics, police etc you will be fired and you'll never get another job in that sector again.
Panic usually sets in when i get model releases out and document ID's and take copies of up to date 28 day certs as people realise its real lol.
Saying this we still average 3 shoots a week so there are lots of people who are not effected by exposure, if you are not seen now you will be within 10 yrs remember that guys.
Most model releases like ours say the works will be used in all digital media's, DVD, print (mags etc), audio and sat/tv so importance of them knowing the implications is vital and any good company will tell you this.

Been a fantasy of mine for years to be in a porn film. It is more the thought of others watching it and being turned on that gets me going. But I expect it will remain a fantasy forever. |

The industry is well run and we police it the best we can among the main Pro production teams, UKAP (a group of us producers to help others) usually uses its influence to keep people on track.
I have never known a pro company to treat anyone bad but you do get lots of amateurs now who work without certs/model releases so avoid these.
Channel 4 and 5 air their mock versions of what they think the industry is like, the dogging documentary showed this so don't believe these programmes.

We met Johnny Rebel in La Chambre years ago when he was filming the "Swinger" series of DVDs, and chatted to him about filming porn. He didn't ask us to take part, sadly! 
Probably wouldn't have done it anyway, with our jobs involving the public, it wouldn't have been wise. Still, we make enough private porn with our friends, so we're happy! |

My voice, hands, and in 1 my feet and bits of me are in quite a few adult films, my mugshot can be seen in the odd reflection too. I'm in lots of photos at industry only parties and adult awards shows. I can honestly say its never come back to haunt me.
What I can say is, being on swinging sites (not fab as I'm more measured what I show, but the S H and prob fab if I was more open) had come back to bite me.
Its not quite the same as starring in, as I'm usually behind the camera, but I'm still there. |

Lots changed since we started as there were only a dozen of us making films now there are over 3000 in the UK.

We used to be great friends and meet regularly with a gorgeous couple who were once on here. They somewhere along the line got made an offer to star in a Brazzers production and went for it. They both to this day make still make movies and have moved onto the European market and she is also the highest paid brittish actress to date. Sadly because of the high profile job he had the Scottish press got wind of it and had a field day. Now his father will have nothing to do with him and her parents are less than proud. It's a shame because he sounds genuinely gutted when he talks about it. I always think the money is an attraction but how long really is your carrier? The next big thing is always hot on your heels and do you really want to end up doing Milf gang bang piss videos to pay the rent?

Nope - absolutely not! Nobody videos me - and the only pics of me disrobed are taken on my phone!! Fab is perfect for me right now - but one day I may fall in love and choose to leave it behind - so I have no wish to see pics or vids of me on the internet in years to come. If you market well and your product works there is no need to chase the next big thing, new producers will try the shock tactic e.g. spitting, scat, sick violence etc because they think it will get them seen whereas us older producers have their niche and stick with it.
Why fix something thats not broke...we have stuck to the same real amateur niche for 18yrs winning us numerous awards over some of the worlds biggest companies, we have been in the national newspapers numerous times so any news is good news in this business but yes its not for the squeamish as the media will look under every stone so be warned.
When we started making porn it was still illegal and risked dawn raids and prision because it was our passion and not about money.

Cheers mate its not always as glamorous as it sounds.
I spend so much time worrying about equipment, releases, travelling etc that i go in overdrive filming/taking pics and even though a mass orgy is taking place in front of you your brain switches off and you end up thinking whats for dinner or whats on TV later.
I only star in a small percentage of the films as I am fussy with whats shot etc so mostly behind the camera. |
