Are you a liar? Who could possibly love all big women? Surely you find some big women attractive and not others? |

"Fat is highly offensive to us fuller figured ladies!!
Why ?
well wouldnt you be offended if people were rude to you!!!!! which is what calling anyone "fat" is generally accepted as rude "
depends how they used the word, if someone i knew genuinely liked me and said ...phrawww I love your fat arse, then no I wouldn't take offence, if someone called me a fat cunt then yes II'd take offence, the word fat isn't offensive in itself, the OP didn't mean it offensive so I don't see why people took offence, personally I think it comes down to women's insecurities if they take offence everytime the word fat is used |

I get called it regularly
And no, I am not offended.
It is a descriptive term.
In my case, an accurate one.
I am fat.
If a person wishes to use my body shape against me in anger or spite, their point or argument is usually weak or ill thought out.
The longer the I see the word itself as insulting, those that use it in a negative way have a way of causing hurt.
IMHO those that have an issue with being described as fat are those that have an issue with their own build or body shape.
People stopping calling me fat wouldn't stop me feeling shit about myself if I was that way inclined.
Only I have the power to change that.
By using the word 'fat' the person is only drawing my attention to something I am already aware of.
Nothing else.
If anyone is offended by the word fat, they are in for a tough ride.
So it becomes a matter of acceptance of the self or, if that acceptance can't be achieved, of doing something about changing it.
The more people that do this, the less of an issue being called fat becomes.
It's a matter of mindset not emotion.

Thing is on here no bugger can ever win. I've seen several threads where women are offended by the term bbw too. I'm under no delusions about the fact that I am fat... And yes I can be very naughty |

True
I've seen many a innocent comment turned into something nasty on here, rather like the OPs post, some people just go out their way to see the bad in everything |

Can I just say I prefer to be fat/large as opposed to BBW, I am big and a woman but far from beautiful, I have fat on me, I am a larger size than the norm and I am not offended by it, other people maybe offended, that's fair enough but I not |

I'm not stick thin, nor am I clinically obese, but I have curves in the right places, and some that aren't. the term fat doesn't bother me, I embrace my curves and love them, as they make me who I am. if you don't like them, then that's up to you. they haven't stopped me from having fun |

Why is being 'fat' recognized as a derogatory term, when having a 'fat' wallet / bank account, describing a chicken etc. is desired?
Give me 'Plump Pussy' anyday! |

I don't much care for the term BBW as it is essentially a label. However, as labels go, it is fairly accurate in my case. I am big. I don't have a face like the back end of a horse. And I am a woman. My most unattractive feature would be feeling crappy about myself were I big boned or stick thin, fat or fit, large or little. And so I don't feel crappy about myself; or can at least talk myself out of the occasional image slump. Confidence is key! |

Calm down! I didn't think there was any need to add the word fat that's all! My opinion! I don't like it! And thats not me trying to hide the fact that yes I am carrying extra weight, i could do with loosing a few pounds but fat to me is a rude way to describe someones body!!!! |

Absolutely this!
Descriptive words: fat, skinny etc are not offensive, the context they are used in is but, as so eloquently put above, it all comes down to your own self esteem/self _iew .
If you are truly happy in the skin you're in, what anyone else thinks or says won't matter and will hold no power anyway |

It's just a word. I'm fat. I'm overweight. I'm curvy. I'm a BBW. I'm thick. Whatever, it doesn't matter. But I meet some very fit sexy men who enjoy me and enjoy my company. That's fine by me. |

"
If you use the BMI to say who's fat and who's not there may be a few ppl who think they have the body beautiful ( muscles !) find out by using BMI they are actually overweight ? Or fat!!!
Top class rugby players will nearly all be !!
Fat is just being nasty ! Everyone knows what they are but why use a hurtful term ? |

Because some of us are actually fat... And I don't need any bmi calculations or even a set of scales to be able to see that, in fact I'd be lucky to see scales!! |

Totally this, you can dress it up however you like, BBW, Fabulous, Curvy, it means one thing FAT, all those words are made up so as not to hurt the ladies feelings truth is your over weight and if you take offence to that then opps! Notice there's no nice way of saying a mans FAT. |

Thing is if, as a woman, you put in your profile that you're fat, all the white knights rush to tell you that you aren't so I use bbw as it keeps them at bay... I can't stand the messages where they think that if they try to boost my confidence then I'll owe them a shag! Think many bigger women are the same... They aren't under any illusions about their size just being realistic doesn't seem to be as popular as some might think! |

I describe myself as curvy and most people wouldn't say I was fat. Size 14. Just have huge natural breasts.
I think people who are arrogant and impolite may however, agree with you.
I'm no carpet muncher but the ladies of a larger figure are definitely more aesthetically appealing than fake titted arrogant porn star wannabes lol in my very humble opinion of course |
