It is all swings and roundabouts. I'm 47 and the sexy wife I see most frequently is 32 and was attracted to me precisely because of my age. Having said that, it doesn't hurt to look after yourself. I've met a few couples and ladies at parties and socials who have me as too old in their age range preference but it was no longer a barrier once they had met me in person.

We're the oldest so far. I think as Andy is younger than me, most think that's my age thankfully. But sadly no, I'm the older of the pair of us and I'll be reaching the next big milestone birthday next year. (and it's not 40 or 50!!!!!)

Some people will not meet those under forty ,so your age makes little difference to the opportunities available . People who really want to meet will make their decision based on the profile pictures and its content . |

It's a natural cut off age for people under 40. Why not have a tinker with your own filters and see what comes up?
There age range can't stay the same forever. We plan to move ours as we get older. |

OP makes a valid point about 40 being an age-range cut-off on many members' profiles. Am only 41 and tend to feel there is no point in messaging someone if they cut off at 40, don't fancy the *can't you read numbers you moron* response. But at the end of the day, age is a number and defined by how you feel and act. I regularly pass for early - mid thirties and I am no different at 41 as I was at 40 or 35. One of the photos in my profile was taken when i was 30 and no one even notices.
So, OP, other posters have made some valid points here and keep yer chin and yer pecker up
P.S I used to own a bar and most of my lovers were 15 - 20 years younger than me, but nowadays am finding 40+ women extremely hot!!!

I regularly get asked my age the amount of girls I meet so I like to play the guess game,if I don't have the beard I always seem to come out good. Anyway the amount of young girls who like older guys that have still got it is quite high I find,I even meet them who would be interested but fear of friends or family stop them taking it much further.

41 is still young on here. I prefer older men, Paul is 14 yrs older than me at the grand age of 45 and he still gets plenty of attention and action. Lots of the ladies on here prefer the older guy |
