When did ignoring become polite?

I've been here for almost a month. I've been trying to get attention from ladies but with no luck. I'm aware of the fact that I'm not Brad Pitt lookalike and I'm aware of the fact that perhaps men to women=100+ to 1 too. However in my messages I'm always courteous and polite, I never offend anyone or try to overdo it always plain and simple. I've made couple of mistakes on couple of occasions and I've learned the lesson and apologised to the direct individuals. What I'm asking myself is:

is it really difficult to find time to reply and say simply "no" or even better "no thanks"? I mean, I put on an effort to write two words of introduction about myself and I really don't understand why some ladies here just ignore. I've read somewhere that is a polite way to say "thank you, but no thank you". Well, I find it lazy and rude at the same time. Ignoring isn't polite. I would suggest to try to go to a shop or to an hospital and feel ignored. I'd love to be there and see their reaction.

I don't reply a lot of the time because either then they get into a long conversation about why not and keep talking.

And sometimes I don't reply because I actually haven't decided right that second reading a message whether I do like a guy or not?

I might be cooking dinner with one hand, phone in the other and check my messages and clic on a guys profile and then the phone rings and then I have to go out. Or I get hooked into a conversation with someone else online.

So I don't make a decision that second whether I'd like to chat with a guy and maybe meet or not.

And the guys who send a follow up chaser message about me being rude get that decision turned into a no fairly sharpish!

And finally some guys I just forget to reply to and they message again a month or so later and I talk to them.

Just don't get hung up on replies. Message lots of people. Go to socials. Don't get hung up on whether one person will or will not reply to your immaculately crafted message designed to make them weak at the knees.

Read the sites FAQ, no reply or deleted means not interested.

Example conversation, hypothetical.....

"Hi, how are you?"

'Good thanks'

"Fancy getting to know me or meeting?"

'No thanks, all the best though'

"Why not?"

'We're not attracted to you'

"But why not?"

'Because we have a type we fancy and you're not it'

"But how will you know if you don't meet me"

'Ok, fuck off!!!!!!!'

Or the simpler solution is to check the profile of the sender, decide we're not suited and delete the message.

See the problem with replying to all?

You'll enjoy the site more if you take no reply as "no thanks"
