We've all seen it a guy puts a post up and comes out that he's cheating or something like that and at that moment he's committed fabicide and the whole forum descends on him. A woman posts something similar yet the reaction sometimes the complete opposite.
I think I have an answer for why this happens which probably completely wrong but would like to hear others thoughts first |

Men and women get exactly the same response from me, and its usually the case with other posts. Its only white-knighter men who support women whatever they do and say.
Actually, if the guy is good looking and has a huge wang I might let him off. |

As a newcomer to the forums I would say that the regular posters are pretty even handed about.
If the person is against it for men they tend to hold the same opinion for women. Others are and ambivalent and think that it is a personal issue for the man/woman and their partner |

We don't see any difference what ever the sex the person is we do find it amusing though how different some peoples reaction is and even more amusing when the hyenas jump in once someone has started the blood bath. |

nope... i am equal ops on the subject... its not a men or a woman playing away... its a person playing away.....
the only reason it may look that way is that women are smarter as to not really come on here so much with the "oh woe is me" routine.....
but they get the same treatment from me.... i am proud that is the case |

see that's the mob mentality probably in action there.
The reason I asked about this was because of a post the other week where a woman had lost her fb but seemed like she was cheating on her husband. Quite a few people were offering her sympathy but pretty sure if had been a guy things would have been different. |

I think it took a while for people to cotton on that she was indeed attached. I tend not to check profiles of the people who post so can be caught out that way. |

I've found that married women get the same response as married men - it's just that they don't start 5 threads a day banging on about it, so it seems like they don't. |

I'm not sure that's quite the attitude to win one over "
Nothing else has ever worked, so I thought this might
OK guys, who wants a wife/gf who will cheat on them? I am very 'cheatable'
Nope, that didn't work either; will rethink stragegy |

I've seen posts from single guys wanting to be cuckolded. Sounds like the ideal situation |

So come on OP, what's your theory?
Our theory is that it's caused by the different ways people respond to a cheating partner.
Generally a bloke that is cheated on will blame his partner, a woman will blame whoever he cheated with. That's when you get some bunny boiler banging on the door screaming that you shagged her husband.
Who needs shit like that? |

Well call it cynical but loads of "single" men of this site compared to "single" women. Reducing the competition while showing yourself to be whiter than white could be a great tactic to enhance their chance of getting a meet yet commenting on a female's post detrimental to their goals.
As said before and considering the responses so far I could be completely wrong |

I think it's often to the way the post is written. From threads I've read read by cheats the men who post are usually trying to justify their actions in some way, as Fabio said play the 'woe is me, my wife doesn't understand me' line and think they'll get understanding, whereas the women tend to be a bit more accepting of responsibility for their own actions. I know that is a very general and sweeping statement and there are exceptions to it but in the main that's what I find and is probably why men get berated that bit more, they often set themselves up for it.
Personally I just try to avoid cheats, and usually cheating related threads, because there's too much drama involved for my liking |
