I personally prefer a man with hair. Growing up in the seventies, a shaved head was the favoured look for skinheads, so to me, is synonymous with "thug" |

Have no choice unfortunately, the option is I grow it and have a big circular bald spot like a monk.
So no thanks.
I genuinely miss having longer hair.
As a big muscular guy at 15stone I always feel like a thug.
Hate the look, only saving grace is the hair I do have is silver /grey so hopefully makes me look a bit better. |

I have been shaving my head for 15 years. I remember the looks I got after I first did it. Going into banks and the staff looking a little wary. I stopped shaving once for a few days and it didn't grow back ...so now I have no choice.
It is who I am and only a small part of a whole. I do however fully appreciate that it isnt everyone's cuppa.

I respect your opinion, but is it not a bit of a generalisation ? Yes some thugs were and maybe still do have shaved heads but I'd like to bet that there are equally as many thugs who have heads that aren't shaved. My head is shaved and I'm by no means a thug ! |

I didn't say that men with shaved heads were thugs I said that it was a look favoured by skinheads and they were mainly thugs, bovva boys, so it has that association for me. It's no different to saying men with white beards remind me of Father Christmas |

"I love rubbing a shaved head when hes inbetween my legs...am I weird? ?! Lol
I must be weird too then!"
I prefer to run my fingers through freshly washed, silky hair, can grab it too and encourage their efforts |

Not at all. I had it shaved due to stitches in my head during a rugby game...went back on.
I would have lost it anyway but the fact I already shaved meant I never realky had any fears about losing it/comb overs etc.
One day it was there and then it was gone...never to return. |

I have a shaved head and have had one or two people prefer a full head of hair.
Others just look past it and see you for who you are; just be yourself and I'm sure lots of women will find it attractive. |

I had straight long hair for years then got a job as a doorman so shaved it for practical reasons ie nothing to grab in a situation
Grew it back about 10 years ago and if I don't keep it trimmed I look like a bloody labradoodle |

I grade my head with clippers 0.5mm so its not back to the skin sort of a stubble effect.
Some women love it and others not so much, a bit like marmite really, lol. I seem to get on ok with it though, and as others have said it only really looks good if you got the right shaped head for it, you need a Jason Statham type shaped head for it to look good. |

I have joined the shaven head gang..hair was thinning and took the plunge on christmas eve, going to take a long long time for me to get used to it.
Right now I hate it and mainly because I have always had long hair. |
