I have 13. Planning on more.

Main piece is a large dragon down my spine.

I love tats, both on men and women. I saw a woman in Starbucks yesterday, who had a piece beginning at her ankle, and came up the full side of her body, onto her face.

I'm not keen on facial tattoos. But hers just seemed so natural. It was beautiful.

we both have tattoos, but we like the 'body art' sort rather than badly-done home made (or prison!) ones. neither of us like crude ones (such as "fuck me" tattooed as a tramp-stamp on the small of the back, which we've seen in a club) or scary skull/knife/gun ones. we hate ones on the face and neck, or on hands, as we think you should be able to cover them up if necessary.

I have a large celtic cross on my right upper arm and a large celtic crown design that wraps around my left upper arm.

Got them done during my mid life crisis

I'm at peace now, lol

you want to watch foreign writing. there's the apparently true story of a woman who had what she thought was the chinese character for 'love' tattooed on her shoulder. at a party a chinese couple kept on looking at her, and her husband said "looks as though you like my wife's 'love' tattoo." the chinese woman looked embarrassed and said "it actually says 'licenced prostitute'! I have 3 tattoos at the moment and want 1 more. Hubby doesn't have any although he is on the hunt for something to have on his inner forearm.

I would absolutely love to have something pretty on my foot or even the side of my hand however they're not great places to keep them hidden at work

Is it only me who dislikes tattoos.

I appreciate it's all a matter of personal preference and taste but I personally very much dislike seeing them especially on women and find it a bit of a turn off!

It's becoming far more individual not to have a tattoo which is a a trend many will live to regret in later life!

I agree, some may come to regret tattoos in later life. But they will mostly be people who walk into a tattooist parlour, pick a design off the wall, and have it done with no thought at all.

All of mine are individual designs, and all mean something to me. I had them done for reasons. To regret the tattoo, will be to regret the reason I had them. And that will never happen.

when I had my first tattoo I was going to have a rope or a chain around my upper arm.

The tattooist asked me if I was gay

When I said "No" he said that if I had a rope or a chain tattoo, I would have some unwanted attention, as they are gay "badges"

I'm fookin glad he asked me

netty here i got 2 small ones, mandarin for 'special' on the right of my back above my bum black and pink. also a black gothic tribal symbol with a pink rose on it (i used to be really into the goth-punk music scene) Ger doesnt have any and doesn't want any. We dont care whether people have them or not makes no difference to us on a meet. however I have come across some really horrible ones on occasion. I saw a local woman the other day with a koi carp all the way up her left arm with all the scales. i thought it looked gross and made her look really butch even though she was very feminine. suppose its down to personal tastes along with wine, music or art etc. i thought it didn't suit her. tatts can sometimes make women look butch and sometimes make them look beautiful and very feminine.

I personally dont like them or piercings. When I began swinging 4 years ago ish I had never been with anyone with a tattoe by choice and the way it happened, so had to get used to people with them opretty quick.

So once I got past my going white at the site of them and feeling a tad sickly then began to see them more and more at clubs...and meets too.

I have had a meet with a male friend and he has a very large amount of it on his chest and shoulder/arm. I met with him probably about a year ago now and still really caught my breath when he took his clothes off and not just because of his massive hard on.

I know ladies that have them and have again gotten used to something small and discreet on the ladies. But hate seeing a lady with them on her boobs... or other delicate areas.

Really dislike all the aggressive looking ones on male or female. Makes me wonder if they like that kind of tattoes then what kind of a person are they. My cousin has a butterfly and do feel that symbolises her a bit.

It is just a personal distaste but accept that others choose to tattoe heavily or not for their own choice. But personally its not for me.

I am same with piercings, reaaaaallly dont like that but again it depends on the lady I was licking if she had her bots pierced, its not really my thing and could well turn me off.

I am such an innocent one really as dislike people that smoke(considerateones ok it isnt too bad) and not a lover of tats or piercings lol.

Just a plain simple lady with simple choices.

Don't mind the feminine ones on women, blossom, butterflies birds etc if well done.

Not keen on the arse antlers, not very original and can't be doing with the list of kids names, birthdays etc.

FFS surely they know when their own kids birthday is without having to have it tattooed.

Dislike the little ones spaced all over their arms too, they look like those bubble gum transfers you got as a kid.

As for tats on men, if they have them so be it.........as long as they're not on the face.

Bad portraits, ex's names and flash card tattoos have the complete opposite effect.

I love tattoos on both men and women. I have had 8 so far and plan on more (only actually got 6 as 2 were cover ups).

I've got a beautiful angel on my shoulder, its my favourite one, ive got lilys, stars and swirly bits coming down from my right shoulder to just above my elbow. On my left arm I have another flowery design and a butterfly flying up to it. The butterfly was a seperate addition later on.

I do have a lower back tattoo, its a butterfly tribal thing and im getting that reworked next. It didnt heal well so i want it re colouring and extending so that little butterflies are coming off it and flying up my back.

I have a moon and stars on the back of my neck which I also want extending.

Im nowhere near finished cant wait to get more! Other half has a tribal lion head, a celtic sun design and a phoenix xx

Isn't diversity fun?

I have three tattoos currently, none of them off the wall or out of flash book, and am planning the next four.

I'm not into big body art - my pieces are snapshots and messages rather than one unified piece of art, but it you put all the snapshots together you'll eventually get glimpses of a story about me.

I admire people who have huge thematic pieces for their patience and their commitment to it, but that's not me,and I work in a job where collar and cuffs is an absolute rule.

As for the names and places approach to tattoos, I have to confess to laughing a lot at a lass I saw recently in a pub; she had elastoplast on the nape of her neck covering up her ex's name. If I decide in twenty years time my tattoos are a mistake, I'll take it on the chin and tell people that - but I suspect it'll be other mistakes that trouble me in twenty years time, not some stuff that matters to me and amuses me now.
