I would say when it comes to accents, it can have major effects on the womans sexual appeal!
I find that the Liverpool accent is a MASSIVE turn on
The Newcastle accent is very nice as well, would happily marry a girl sounding like Cheryl Cole
I quite like the Black Country (Yam Yam) accent aswell on certain females
I Think the worst, most unattractive accent by far is the Bristol accent!
Second worse would be a chavvy Birmingham accent of which i hear A LOT!

Hmm trying to imagine that one- ''alreight me luvrrrrth''
Sorry I can't say much, beinga asailor I've pretty much lost my accent movingaround the country, my dad says I soundlike a southerner now and my mum says I still sound northern. Weirdest part is though I oncemeta bloke in Stafford who not only placed what town I was from, but also what road I grew up on from the way I pronound the word ''thankyou'' |

Not too dissimilar to Australian sometimes if you're talking to a White South African, the amount of times I've called a prawn an Ozzie has been 1 too many. |

I hope I'm not being rude but specifying which parts you meant would have been helpful cause a lot of African accents are not the same. And a lot of Africans get very offended if/when assumptions are made and I'm like those who don't take kindly to some of the presumptions |

Aye, a person born and raised in South Africa, normally of Dutch ancestry. I know that as in the UK there will be many varying accents within the country, but to my untrained ear at first I thought they were Austrailian. I offended one of my bosses from Stellenbosch massively when I asked her if she was from Perth as I had never head an African before. |

Sorry to correct you there but it's not just white South Africans who are presumed to sound Australian. That all depends on where/how a person was raised or where they lived. You can have black South Africans too who get the same comments |

Yes, I picked up on that. It was a short generalisation made for a light hearted thread. Respect for others is something I hold quite highly. Please don't take offense where none was intended. |

Soft scouse on a woman is nice. Any kind of Irish accents I generally hate (mostly due to Irish guys thinking they're gods gift). On men I love most Scottish, Yorkshire and London accents or someone who is generally well spoken. I am a bit of an accent whore, they can be a huge turn on/off which is a shame when someone's hot until they open their mouth lol xx |

Every woman I've discussed this with has agreed. I've not once had a message from an Irish guy who hasn't thought the fact he is Irish would make me fall at his feet. Which I why I generally avoid Irish men. Men in uniform are almost as bad for the gods gift thing but the Irish definitely top it I'm afraid x |

Hate the Birmingham accent, to be specific the north Brum accent, thankfully as I'm from East Brum I was never overly burdened with it. Black Country accent is almost as bad.
I like most others, particularly scouse. I have several friends in Glasgow and without exception they confuse me. West country amuses me more than most.

Can't say I'm a huge fan of Scottish accents unless they're deep and rough.
Do love a Yorkshire accent though, and some other random English accents too, but I'm that terrible I don't know where they're from. :-/ |
