Does anyone have any occupations they look for as a bit of a fantasy when meeting people?
I had a guy tell me being a scientist wasn't sexy? Really?
Do you like the usual cliches or is there an unusual occupation that would turn you on in a partner?
I quite fancy meeting a lawyer for some strange reason (probably the desk sex!). |

I find I like men to have jobs where they work hard. Not sit on their bum in an office. If I see a guy in a mechanic overalls or warehouse uniform then that does it for me. I love a hard working man. |

You have a good point. I'm suddenly thinking of the iconic diet ad - I'd never have thought window cleaners were sexy before I drooled over him - I mean, watched that... |

Whole mixture really - depending on the woman - but assuming that she 'lights my fire' I think doctor; woman in uniform (most of trhem do it for me), musicians, academics ... whole stack of things. Ultimately someone who's a nice girl, sexy and who I can chat to all work for me |

Personally I love a professional lady in smart, crisp business attire. Always nice to let your imagination wander and wonder if that's tights, stockings or hold ups she's wearing

"Damn, is having an education considered unattractive for a guy on here?"
I like an education! I like guys who can use long words and construct whole sentences. Text speak makes me cry... |

"Damn, is having an education considered unattractive for a guy on here?
Can't you have an education and work in a more manual role??"
Well, you can I suppose yes. Given that I don't work in manual labour, does that make me less of a man? |

Not at all! Not judging you in the slightest, just saying that it's not so clear cut |

"A shapely female Navy officer in white summer kit like Demi Moore in A Few Good men.
Oh yes yes yes! "
Shame the wrns wear the same uniforms as men in the Royal Navy and in the UK, they're black not white.
Hmm reading through here noticed not much call for navy lads but let's see if I can get some boxes ticked:
Army? I spent more time wearing combat uniforms and webbing than I do my navy uniform!
Hard working manual labour? Come on that's what we're famous for!
Dirty? Well day to day I work in the camps vehicle workshops so I have my green overalls on. I am the mechanic's storeman looking after all their spares in the warehouse.
Crisp suits? Well when I'm office bound doing paperwork and administration I'm in one.
Fireman? Well ever sailor is a trained fire fighter and yes we wear the same stuff as your local fire brigade while in that job.
Teacher? I teach sea cadets.
And surely you ladies must realise that when a sailor has been away for 9 months at sea the first thing he's going to want is to make up for being away!
As for me? I'll keep it in house, I love squaddie girls, summat about ladies in combats *bites fist*.

I've been a firefighter for 10 years now and get mixed reactions:
1) woman find it sexy but coming home with that smokey smell tends to lose it's appeal after a while
2) women don't believe you because there are so many guys who pretend to be firefighters in order to pull
3) some women think we're brain dead as it's predominantly a manual job - I have a degree in Disaster Management! |
