when you look at profiles and looking at sending or responding to a message, does anything make you go urghh and not respond to it
for me its long friends list and not verified and no pics on public gallery

I'm fairly new on here so I haven't had many messages to test!
I find 'no face pic no reply' a bit annoying, particularly if the profile doesn't contain face pics either.
I'm careful about my identity. Why should I reveal it straight off when in all likelihood my email will be deleted / ignored anyway.
Is there any protocol on this?

Yes there is a protocol:
Do only what you feel comfortable with and whilst listening to others is a good thing, make your own mind up about your own rules.
If someone demands face pics but doesn't have them on thier own profile, you can ignore them or not, the choice is yours |

Big Hate for us - badly thought out winking.
We love winks, for us it shows someone is interested and if we feel the same we wink back but if we don't feel the same we can just ignore it.
But we get so many winks from people without any profile information or with no pictures or only pictures of a fanny or cock.
So we ignore those, becuase we are not going to lead someone on by winking back at them without an inkling of wether we are really interested or not.
The downside of that of course is that we may actually like the people had we seen a picture or been able to read something about them, so often we are sending the wrong signal by not sending any signal at all. |

we find no info very off putting so we wont mail any1 just gives us the impression if they cant be bothered to write a few sentances about them selfs what else cant they be bothered to do and no pics and of course no verifacations and been on site for ages lol |

What really is my bug bear is when they write on their profile, 'just joined, will fill in later', and then you see they joined 'over a year ago'. They just can't be bothered and hope that what is there is enough. Damn bloody lazy if you ask me! |
