So am I! I've been told by a consultant genitourinary physician that swinging and dogging are the cause of many infections and middle aged people are more at risk than any other group.
I wouldn't bareback with anybody. I've regretted it ever since the lady time I did it. Is just too risky. You can't trust anybody. Sorry, but you can't.

We don't bareback ourselves. But I say each to their own. I can think of other risky behaviours, if not more risky. Driving a car, smoking, drinking, eating too much, mountain biking, and so on.
You just need to protect yourself if it bothers you, like we do. Also you can catch things through oral, if you're that high and mighty about it. |

It's semantics. Safer sex then would be the appropriate term.
The risk element is certainly lower if you have a condom on for penetration. It would be lower still if you had it for oral. It's about what level of risk you find acceptable.
Bareback is risky, bareback in a gangbang situation is riskier, bareback in a drug den is riskier still.

A lot about herpes I should think and they do estimate that 50% of children have type 1 HSV. It was you who said 50% have genital herpes in answer to my question. Anyway I'm turning into a pedant and the point I was trying to make is that HSV is very common and can be contracted quite easily by having sex with a minor!
