Why do people hide their profile's and what is the point of being on a site like this if you can't see any info about someone.
We always get our 1st impressions about someone from their profile and can't see any point in having it hidden. Surely you may as well not be on here! |

Just because they can...lol...their profile, so they can do what they want with it.
Usually it's because they are having a break from actively swinging and it's the only way to stop the mail, but they don't want to leave the site....many people have made very good friends here who they want to stay in touch with....and lots also like to keep up with the forums or use the chat rooms.
For every hidden profile there are hundreds which are available...so just go look elsewhere  |

maybe they hide their profile because they dont want contacting, but would rather do the conracting themselves if they find someoen tehy like
Also a lot of people will hide their profile if they are taking a break from swinging, rather than deleting it, so they have it to come back to when they ready to meet again |

At the moment real life is getting in the way and we are not meeting (would you prefer us to keep it open and turn everyone who mails us down??)
However we have some great friends on here and like to keep talking to them and writing and keeping up with the forums
There are plenty of open profiles on here to go at lol xx |

Fair comments, we were just interested as we have been contacted by people with hidden profiles and just wondered what it was all about.
As we haven't been on here very long its something we had not come across before. |

Arh now being contacted by hidden profiles is a totally different ball game
That's just plain wrong in my opinion
The only way we mail anyone is if its just to talk to them cause we knows them xx |

I dont see the point in hiding your profile and contacting someone..
We had a friend invite of a guy a while ago,he had hidden his profile so the cheeky guy wanted to look at our private pics but didnt want us looking at him lol |

I hid my profile because I wanted to take a bit of a step back from meets after a scarey experience a few weeks back, well, I had actually in a panic deleted my old profile but realised I was not going to let someone on here have that control over me...but I still wanted to come on here in the forums.Because you can have "not meeting " on your profile and still get loads of messages asking for meets |

It was because we have been messaged by people with hidden profiles that we raised the topic, can totally understand if your not wanting to meet etc, but we have had messages saying would we like to meet.
When we stated that without being able to see the hidden profile we couldn't even begin to make a decision whether we wanted to take it any further or not we didn't even get a reply. |

I hide my profile when I'm busy with life and don't have the time to meet new people, let alone play with my regular group of friends.
It saves people wasting their time in contacting me. Besides, I love popping into the forums.
I do however think it's cheeky to hide your profile and contact others!  |

We can understand as you say Sassy that you hide when your busy with life and not meeting new people, that makes sense, but yes we thought it cheeky to contact us without a viewable profile. |

I hide my passport unless I am planning to use it for travel or for identification purposes, I guess it's the same with profiles  if your not going to use it for a while hide it.
We deleted our profile recently because Sasha was very ill and we weren't meeting anyone, with hindsight we would have been better off just hiding it. |

what a pile of pants, people have lots of reasons to hide their profile, concentrate on the ones visible  |
